I paid $2790 for the extended warranty. I took my truck to have it repaired. I called the company but when I was filing the claim, the phone hangs up. I can't get to a live person. I have had the policy for two months. I have spoken to someone before a few months ago when I first got the policy. I'm trying to file a claim. So I purchased an auto warranty through this company back in may my thirty day was June the 14. I paid a 500 deposit for the policy in which I would pay $80 dollars a month. I have been calling and going on the website which states that it is now under construction. None of the phone number are working now. I last had communication with someone named chase D*****’s back in June asking about payment. I have yet to hear anything from anyone to find out if I’m still covered if anything goes wrong with my vehicle.Initial Complaint

I bought the platinum package in October 2021 for 2200$. My first claim is now in July 22 nobody has answered the phone and my car was towed into the shop almost a month ago. I’ve called over 100 time and emailed Colin G**** and Chase D****** over 100 times as well. I’m not able to get into contact with anybody. I want my money refunded to me or I’ll get in contact with an attorney. This company is a complete scam.Initial Complaint

Had my truck towed to Three Way Chevrolet dealership for repairs. The paper work was sent to American First Auto Protect by the dealership around July 23, 2022. Contact was made with a represenitive and a receipt was faxed by the dealership. Not able to make contact since I paid the bill of 711.00 dallors, my truck back to the dealership on August 4,2022 for replacement of the Glo Plugs. The dealership and my self have tried several times to make contact with the warranty com. I have two vehicles under this GOLD policy. I am going to pay for this repair since I need my truck just like I did the first time. I just want them to pay as agreed and to be available.Initial Complaint

American First Auto Protect failed to uphold their terms and conditions. I've purchased a plan with the business agreeing on warranty coverage for my car, and when the time came for them do their job, there was no way for me to get in touch with them whatsoever. it's been four months and I've tried every week or so when they "claim to be open", to contact them every way possible. before I've even purchased this, they've repeatedly called over and over about payment. and now that they have the payment, they won't do their job and fix my car like they were intended to do. now I'm out of 1500 dollar on a coverage plan that did not do its job.Initial Complaint

I purchased an extended warranty for my 2012 **** ** one year ago. I paid approximately $3000 for it. It was the top of the line program called Platinum coverage. I did not file a claim all year. About a month ago I saw an unauthorized charge on my credit card for $2000 and became aware the charge was made by American First Auto Protect. I called them for about a week to see what the charge was for and could not get an answer at their number so I cancelled the charge with my credit card company. The Platinum coverage I purchased was for 5 years and 50,000 miles. I have continued to call American First Auto Protect for a month and have not been able to speak with a representative or even leave a message. I have since purchased a new warranty for my car but feel I am entitled to a reimbursement on the policy. The policy was approximately $600 per year and used it for one year. I am entitled to a refund of $2400.
