I paid $2490.40 to American First Auto Protect for an extended Warranty on my vehicle. I can not reach this company by phone or by email. Emails have been returned "as non-existent" phone number says "invalid number" (1)###-###-####. I have no idea how to reach this company. The man I spoke to on the phone is named "Colin G****".
I am an 81 year old widow that can't afford to just be out this amount of money. Any help is greatly appreciated.Initial Complaint

Purchased a Platinum 4 year extended warranty for my 2014 ******* ******** after the ******* CPO warranty expired. I no longer have the vehicle and I am entitled to a prorated refund. However, the person who assisted with the purchase, Colin G**** *****@************************.com, cannot be reached and the phone number on their website and my policy pack is not functional. Based on the complaint I see here posted after I bought my policy it seems as though this business is a scam. I feel a class action lawsuit should be filed.Initial Complaint

I purchased a car extended vehicle warranty to covers repairs beyond the factory warranty in 2021. This year (2022), my car requires a repair and I want to use the extended warranty plan. However, American First Auto Protect, does not respond to phone calls, their online claims submission does not lead to anyone reaching out to me, and the agent who sold me a policy won’t return emails. I believe this company has committed fraud and is not honoring the terms of the extended warranty they have sold.Initial Complaint

I paid $2000 for a two year extended warranty on my car and the company is not able to be reached; they do not return phone calls and their website does not function. I am unable to reach anyone or get inquiries returned. They have absconded with my $2000 and I never received any coverage for my car. They have cheated me out of $2000.Initial Complaint

Involved in a total loss vehicle collision. Went to transfer warranty to a new vehicle. Both website contact link and phone number are non functional.
I have two extended warranties on two separate vehicles with this company. Over $3,200 paid in full to this warranty.

I Purchased the warranty from them on May 20 of 2022 for $2499. As of October 24, 2022, their phones aha e been disconnected.and their website is gone and says 404 page not found. The person who sold me the contract, Colin G****’s direct line says all circuits are busy every time you call. I was calling to see if my warranty covered something and now the company is completely gone. So I’m out $2,499Initial Complaint

Tried to file a warranty claim for $654.20. Called the ###-###-#### number it rings about 4-5 times then disconnects the call. I tried e-mailing the salesman and the e-mail came back as undeliverable. I then went to their website, same phone number, they have a place to file a claim electronically, so I did 3 times. Each time I get a message that someone will contact me shortly, as of yet, no call no e-mail nothing. I have had the policy a little over a year, this is my first claim with them and it looks like my last. What are my options or my next step. Thanks

I paid $3700 for the Platinum Plan in 2021 and today when I need to file a claim they are nowhere to be found. Number is not working. When I first looked up this company they were BBB accredited and now they’re NOT. Why are customers not notified somehow of companies being scammers? I didn’t think I needed to go on line and check every week or month to see if businesses have been taken off the list for BBB accreditation. Now I know to NEVER buy insurance from a “no namer”. So frustrating that there is no trusting in anything anymore.
