    I bought online from Verdi.com an electronic device, paid by credit card, received confirmation email, immediately other email canceling the transaction and stating that they are going to refund the money in 10days

    Dear Sir/Madam,

    I am writing to file a formal complaint against Verdi Commerce regarding their handling of an order I placed through ****. I believe their actions constitute a breach of contract and have caused me considerable inconvenience.

    On September 1st, I placed an order for a ******* C1 projector through an **** listing by Verdi Commerce. The purchase was confirmed, and payment was processed. However, after contacting Verdi Commerce this morning to check on the status of my order, I was assured that the item would be shipped today. Despite this assurance, a few hours later, my order was abruptly canceled and they didn’t even get in touch with me before canceling or trying to explain the problem it was simply cancelled and marked that the item was out of stock. I was further informed that the listing was supposedly loaded in error, though 33 other buyers also successfully made purchases from the same listing which I confirmed a day after I bought.

    I believe this cancellation was not justified, as I was among the first, if not the very first, to make a purchase when the price went down. I was monitoring this product for almost a month! This suggests that Verdi Commerce either failed to fulfill its obligations under the contract or engaged in deceptive practices.

    I am seeking the BBB’s assistance in resolving this issue. Specifically, I request that Verdi Commerce provide proof that the cancellation was due to a legitimate error and that the item was indeed out of stock at the time of my purchase. My preference is to receive the item I ordered, not a refund, as I believe my order should have been honored.

    This was a listing error and the item was never available to purchase.  The customer was immediately refunded as soon as the error was discovered.  Due to the full refund that the customer has received, this issue is considered closed.
