      I've received a letter from my current Gas Supplier in ** with whom I have an account for the last 20 years notifying me that Indra Energy will be my new Gas Supplier in about two month. When I called them back, I was told Indra Energy requested the switch. All this is happening without my request and authorization. I called Indra as well trying to get any explanation for their actions, and guess what... I haven't got any.The long story short, my current supplier has cancelled the switch to Indra as per my request.This is not the first time 'companies' like Indra are trying to steal my account.I believe, this is a violation of customer rights. Customer and only customer should be making a choice what company to have a business with!

On January 8, ****, we received a notification from PSEG that the pending enrollment of your natural gas account was rescinded. Therefore, you did not receive service from Indra, nor were you billed charges or a cancellation fee.Indra takes these matters seriously, and upon receipt of your concerns, we immediately reached out to the vendor. Out of an abundance of caution, we are retraining our sales agents, and they will continue to undergo the monthly scheduled retraining sessions to ensure they remain fully compliant.On January 9, ****, a Compliance representative sent you an email advising you to contact our office in an attempt to discuss your concerns.       Scam! They sell their service by door to door marketing. Give wrong information, like if you do not enroll your local utility company can cut the the service. After you learn right information from your landlord and contact them to cancel, they say they cancelled, give you cancel confirmation number. But keep overcharging you. And when you call to cancel again they say oh something went wrong and cancellation did not go through. We will cancel now, give you number. But it will be cancelled after 1-2 billing cycles. Never approach them. Total scam and misguiding.

      AVOID INDRA ENERGY a subsidiary of PALMco. Stay away from INDRA ENERGY they are a scam energy company ripping off consumers who wish to buy clean energy. INDRA offers a low teaser rate for a short while and then charges 300% or more above market rates for energy. I experienced their scam and cancelled them immediately. *************** every month especiallt the *** kilowatt hour usage.

In response to your concerns, we researched our records and confirmed you enrolled your electric account with ********************** on February 20, 2023, into a variable rate plan. The Enrollment Confirmation package, including the terms and conditions of the variable rate, was sent to you following the enrollment. Your electric account with ********************** has since been cancelled and your last day was on June 12, 2023. You were not charged a cancellation fee.Upon receipt of your complaint, we conducted an analysis of your electric account, and it appears there was an increased usage reported to us by the utility, which in part resulted in a higher invoice. For reference, during your May 2023 billing cycle, you consumed 399 kWh, while 546 kWh was consumed during your June 2023 billing period. Please be advised that Indra does not read any meters, as the utility handles all of the billing including customer meter-readings.Based on our review, your electric account was charged for supply correctly. Notwithstanding, on June 30, 2023, a Compliance representative left a voice mail message for you in an attempt to discuss a resolution. We hope you find this information responsive to your concerns.       They are overcharging customers in ********. Our service was somehow switched to their provider Indria and the bill is three times higher than average. Comed told me today that this company is charging me 25 cents a kwh. This is almost three times the charge that Comed would have charged. How is this even legal. I will be filing a complaint with the Atty ******** ****** as well.

      I sure wish I'd done my research before I signed. It was my own stupid fault. The guy came to my door, I was irritated at my rate I was paying wth Columbia. He told me I would be paying (something like) .60 / therm to Columbia's .80 / therm which was going up to .92/therm. Affable and congenial guy who answered my questions sensibly - and I signed without reading the contract. I'd just moved here from ** and I'd done something similar in ** which had worked out well. The first month was .63/therm and my bill was incredibly low. Then.....it skyrocketed. I cancelled immediately and fortunately, despite having signed a year's contract, I could. As I looked at the contract I saw that it clearly said FIRST MONTH, and then the price become variable determined by Indra.Although cancellation was effective immediatley and ************ recerived notice of that, It took another 2 - 3 months to be relieved from Indra's robber-baron rates. In that time I paid exponentially, incredibly more than I'd otherwise have paid if I stayed with Columbia. If Indra truly takes things seriously, a rebate equal e to what I'd have paid if I'd stayed with Columbia would demonstrate a sincere desire to rectify their own apparent intent to take advantage of people. You can't proclaim to save people money, then **** their rates up sky high without the intent being solely on the bottom line to the detriment of the customers.

      Indra Energy company are predatory scammers who take advantage of hard working individuals. They sent a sales agent to my door who told me I could save up to 30% off my energy bill by signing with their company. They have done nothing but bill me over $700 in additional charges. I have attempted several times to discontinue business with this company. I have even received a confirmation refund # but this is the 3rd month they have continued to charge me and I have seen no refund. I called them again today (3rd call) same response, supervisor not available, once again someone will call me back, once again it will take 1 to 2 billing cycles before I see anything, however it has been 3 billing cycles..

      these people are scammer they just scammed my mother she got a bill for $973 when I first time called they never answer the phone. they charged more the my regular PSEG.they should not be able to come to HOMES and lie to the people and saying they work for PSEG.They were told it would take THREE billing cycles until the cancellation takes effect, which I find to be unreasonable since my parents will continue to pay a higher price for electricity for another THREE months.

      Scammers! Someone please put this company out of business. The sales agent came to my door and stated that they worked for my local utility *****. They asked to see my utility bill on the app and confirmed that I was being overcharged. My local utility was recently sued and lost a court case for overcharging which led credence to this scammer’s story. I was told that I needed to sign a document to get my cash refund which I proceeded to do because I was in need of money. After she left, I received a text message thanking me for signing up with Indra energy when I had no intention of switching utilities. This company preys on vulnerable people and does everything they can to ruin people’s lives. How are they legally allowed to operate? I have read this same exact scam playing out all across the country so I know this bait and switch scheme is foundational to Indra Energy/PalmCo’s business practices despite their blatant lies to the contrary and pathetic attempts to rebuke responsibility for their illegal and damaging business practices.

      These people are scammers! They scammed my mother. She just got a bill for $965! when I first called the number from my cell phone it went to *** in ********* ******! after 4 attempts i used a landline and finally talked to someone. They did not have my mothers info or record of her signing up! She only talked to a door to door sales person. Shame on yall! How can you sleep at night? AND the gas company says she has to pay.!

      Very well executed scam. At least it was done in a friendly manner but this guy completely misled me to thinking that this was payback to customers by ******** *** for overcharging of prior service. Not cool ****** and you are definitely not my brother. You seem like a nice guy. Not sure how you can do that and feel good about your self.
