Pattern of Complaints
BBB files indicate a pattern of complaints concerning issues with event tickets purchased through Charged.fm. Multiple consumers are alleging to BBB that they never received the event tickets they had purchased from the company. Those consumers tell BBB that they contacted Charged.fm on numerous occasions via telephone or e-mail before the event, hoping to receive their tickets. Since the company never delivered the tickets, consumers tell BBB that they requested a refund from Charged.fm. However, some consumers allege that Charged.fm told them they will not be receiving refunds and that consumers should dispute the charges with their credit card company. Several consumers are reportedly told by their credit card issuer that charges must be disputed within 60-90 days of the transaction, which, in case of many of the consumers that are complaining to BBB, has long since passed.
On June 25, 2015, Metro NY BBB contacted the company about the identified pattern of complaints. On July 15, 2015, the company responded to BBB but failed to provide the requested strategy or solution to resolve the underlying issues causing the identified pattern.
