I initially used G********e L***l G***p to try to help me get out of a few predatory loans and 2 credit cards. The set up was that I would make a payment each month into an account and that they would pay off each debt as the funds accumulated. This was in 4/2023. By 10/2023 they had talked me into getting a 1 time loan to handle the accounts. They set me up with Versara and everything went relatively smoothly. The loan amount was $16,280 with a monthly payment of $527. Everything was going smoothly until recently when I see my credit scores showing that I have missed a number of payments on an account that was supposed to be handled by them. Customer service is a joke and they don't know my account number and my SS doesn't bring up an account. I always thought that it was shady that I couldn't make any extra payments online either. So after 2 emails about the problem on my credit report and no responses in 2 weeks I finally got someone on the phone but since they can't bring up my account. Nobody can help me. So now I am writing about this predatory, scam company. They certainly have no problem taking out $527 a month like clockwork. I need help with this.

      No contact number that’s valid.
Very frustrating that one cannot talk to a representative.
It’s time to seek legal counsel.

I do not recommend Versara Lending. I received a loan from them about a year ago to help pay off credit cards through a debt consolidation. I have been trying to reach them for months to pay off my loan with no response. Emailed multiple times no one answered. Called daily for 3 weeks message says no one available. I tried the portal repeatedly and it keeps refusing payments saying I am trying to schedule on a weekend or holiday which is not the case. I am starting to feel as if they are doing this to collect more interest from me. Bad business ethics.

This company charges $8.11 every day on loan and they don't tell you about this unless you are looking at your account often I did not see this in the contract because it was so long so I blame myself for this This company should be barred for giving out loans

Honestly wish to say **ditto**to the other reviews posted this summer. I wish I had trusted my gut when the original company that pushed me off on this group, in an email congratulating me on my success in my year of consolidating and Versara offer to manage the remaining years. I “Thank you for this offer, but according to BBB they have a bad reputation and I would prefer to stay here.” At that time it was just communication issues, but now I’m wrapped in this $800 a month payment. I was told after a year of payments I could refi to a lower rate. At the beginning of May I reached out via email and received response a case was opened. Never a word from them, numerous emails left without response and no answer to phone calls.
Finally beginning of August I called and got someone on the phone which advised they do not refi. It is also at this time I discovered they haven’t reported to any of the three credit bureau! When I questioned the “off shore call center “ suggested I email them my credit bureau & SSN, I will tell you PII is not going anywhere near this company.
How do you repair credit when they are not reporting my payment history. I mentioned speaking with CEO & officer of the company & the call center never heard of them.
I’m standing with the others and stopping payment going forward.
The list of legal matters this company ongoing until further notice until they operate by law i will not pay another cent

Customer service is pretty useless. I have an agreement for automatic deductions on the 1st and 15th of the month. They continually attempt to deduct funds before the 1st. They refused to change due date nor stop auto deductions. Beware

Won’t review our loan, won’t answer their phones, website don’t work, and won’t let us pay off the balance of our loan

I have a loan with this company. Versara's customer service is terrible. Like others, I have tried calling and emailing with no response. I keep getting emails from them that they are going to close my account if I don't contact them. I keep trying to call. Either the number won't work or the automotive system tells me I need to email or file a report in the portal. Have done both seceral times and no response back. I don't know what to do to get in contact with this company.

I applied for a "loan" to consolidate debt. I specifically ask several times and right before a credit application for a loan. I told the gentlemen several times I do NOT want a debt relief program. He pulled an application and within minutes told me about their debt relief program. I was flat out lied too. This is unacceptable. SCAM
