BBB sent correspondence to Roto Drain on December 9, December 16, and December 24, 2024 requesting substantiation for, or modification of, advertised claims on the website https://rotodrainpro.com/. To date the business has not responded to our request.
The website features trademarks from Lowe’s, McDonald’s, Walgreens, Rite Aid, Walmart, Wendy’s, and Dunkin’ Donuts implying endorsement of Roto Drain. BBB requested more information from Roto Drain showing that they have endorsed Roto Drain and allow Roto Drain to use their company trademarks in their advertising.
The website advertises that the business is Google Guaranteed. BBB requested proof of this distinction.
Some of the photo’s that appear on the website appear to be stock photo’s or photo’s that are in use by many other businesses when selecting “OUR WORK” on the website. BBB requested the the business remove the photo’s that are not of actual work done by the business or to specify that they are not actual photo’s of work done by business.

Advertisements should be truthful, sincere offers to sell. Advertisers have a responsibility to have substantiation for all claims made and should be able to provide that substantiation upon request. All advertising that may mislead or deceive consumers should be avoided.
