  I hired Binder and Binder to represent me for my Social Security Disability claim. That was the worst mistake of my life.After my initial denial, the attorney told me not to file an appeal, rather they would file a new claim. I agreed.However, the attorney never checked the date my disability began, and, having withdrawn my claim, the statute of limitations had expired for me to file a new claim.In other words, by following the instruction of the Binder and Binder attorney, I effectively threw away any opportunity to collect Social Security Disability for the rest of my life.I have been homeless ever since, disabled, without the ability to earn a living, thanks to choosing Binder and Binder to represent me. They never even said they were sorry.Homeless and disabled is a terrible way to live the last years of your life. Choose anyone other than Binder and Binder. Your life depends on it.

  I was referred to them by a friend, a white friend. I'm black. I live in a prominently black city but the judges are white. Got denied, denied during reconsideration and denied at a hearing, where everyone was white, and vocational rep said I could get a job at laundry mat. I have depression, anxiety, panic disorder, ptsd, chronic pain, morbidly obese, pre-diabetes, low level heart failure, osteoarthritis. I've been fighting for 10 plus years and I'm still fighting. Binder & Binder just sat there and watch didn't say a word on my behalf. I had to **** down a lot of my medical records.

  I cant speak for anyones experience but my own. I had lumbar fusion when I was 19, currently (at 40) should have a 4 level fusion. I have 3 lung diseases, 2 of which have no cure, other than transplant. I have been fighting disability for almost 14 years. I had to file a total of 3 times. The first 2 times was a different law firm and I now regret that! With Binder & Binder, I had my hearing and received a letter of a favorable decision, less than a month later. Binder & Binder accomplished, in 1 hearing, what my previous attorney couldnt accomplish in 2 hearings. I have nothing bad to say!!

  They are terrible.Not at all what I expected.I question if SSDI received all the paperwork from my doctors. I would never recommend them to anyone.They filed my claim (I only had 1 doctors reports). I was denied (of course) But my reconsideration is what makes me extremely doubtful that the person reviewing my medical files had them all.I had doctors saying I can't stand sit or walk for an hour and I needed to elevate my legs after an hour. My memory is terrible thanks to 20 years of MS and my body has so much nerve damage. Constant discomfort. Could easily be from any of the 3 auto immune disorders I have. I was denied again. How for the love of God could an educated person look at a Neurologist and MDs reports and suggest that I can do what I've done in the past or work a regular job. Also talked about how many days they thought I would miss from work. What job would hire me? Something I've previously done. I can't say for sure but the lack of giddy-up I've experienced with Binder I'm doubtful the important paperwork was seen by the people making disability decisions. I had to ask them to let me know when they sent the paperwork over and my husband would keep track of it all. I wish I could rewind to the day I threw in the towel so sadly accepting this is where my life is at now and found a lawyer that would actually fight for me. Take the time to speak with me and make sure the important paperwork was sent. This entire send the paperwork to Binder first.....that is where all the wheels fall off.My Dr filled out the paperwork and I saw what he wrote and there is little chance anyone could say I could be employed by a company. Expectation of missing 2-3 days per week. Not being able to sit stand walk for more than an hour. No reaching bending squatting. Having to nap during the day and elevate my legs throughout the day. My doctors actually took time for me. Binder obviously did not. All my paperwork was not sent and reviewed by SSDI for my reconsideration

  Thank God Binder and Binder is in *******. When the For the People law firm refused to help me Binder and Binder took on my claim and WON. Binder and Binder fought hard for me. Thank you Binder and Binder.
