5 starsTully Rinckey helped me get through applying for my clearance and managing follow ups. TR assigned Dan M****. They helped manage my complex situation. TR's help made the process less stressful and gave much peace of mind that I was handling it the best I could. I managed to get my clearance recently.Review fromSteven K

1 starI would absolutely NOT recommend this firm unless you want to write your own responses, constantly remind the attorney the facts of the case and remind them when a response is due to the court. I hired the firm for multiple EEO filings and potential disciplinary matters and didn’t think my rough draft written responses would be forwarded with what I thought would be notes/thoughts between me and my attorney. Nor that I would end up writing the bulk of the responses that needed to be submitted myself. I did advise the firm of my dissatisfaction with the attorney representing me and was initially contacted by their client assurance team which indicated they received my complaint and were reviewing it and would have someone reachable out to me to discuss it, and that never happened. When the judge indicated she was going to rule against me in a summary judgement and gave a deadline to respond, I never heard from my attorney. That was until I reached out to the founding partners and CEO the day the response was due to indicate I never heard from my attorney and was going to respond myself and as a courtesy was advising them in the event the judge sanctioned them for failure to respond. And since it was so rushed by the attorney I had to stay up until just before midnight when it was finally “finished” only to have to edit out the cut and paste from another case that had nothing whatsoever to do with my case. I can continue to cite other examples of inadequate representation but I think you are able to make your own decision on whether or not this is the type of representation you want.Review fromPete C

5 starsI had a statement of reasons response and hearing before the Defense Office of Hearings and Appeals to navigate. After an online search, I contacted Tully Rinckey Law Firm. The Firm assigned Dan M****, the Managing Partner of the DC Office, to my case; Dan prepared me, helped concentrate my testimony, and clearly explained the process. I felt like Dan and I were able to work like a team to prepare the necessary responses and paperwork. His experience gave me confidence that I was working with a professional who was looking out for me. I am waiting for the case to finish up at the Personnel Security Appeals Board, and Dan has been with me all the way. Thanks Dan and the staff at TR!Review fromTim F

5 starsLate last year, I received a Statement of Reasons from an Intelligence Community Element (ICE), effectively ending my career. No one in my network had any experience with something like this, so I felt aimless and contacted several attorneys and firms before settling on Tully Rinckey. TR assigned the case to Dan M****, a former intelligence officer and national security partner in the Washington DC Office. The specific security concerns in my case required someone with significant understanding and commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI). Dan was that man; having served openly as queer in both the Defense Department and on the staff of Director of National Intelligence *******, he put me at ease. He said my case was winnable, even though winning an appeal at an ICE is notoriously difficult. Without giving out privileged information, Dan described the victories TR has won for other DEI applicants for eligibility for access to classified information. He was firm, almost stern, at times, noting that everyone must conform to the security norms once they are on the inside; at the same time, he understood that the Intelligence Community can be overly cautious in regard to DEI matters and that I didn’t have to change who I am to maintain a security clearance. I was relieved I was not alone and my case was not a “unicorn”. Just got word, I am “eligible”. I am beyond excited to continue my career and I wholeheartedly recommend Dan M**** and the TR team!Review fromRick s

I agree with another review that these guys are a scam. They say they are familiar with military law and help veterans with their claims.. I paid $150 for a consult for a military matter. I watched their video on how to prepare for my consult and spent all day organizing my facts and paperwork. When I finally was contacted, I could barely get a word in to discuss my case. I felt like I was talking to a used car salesman. At the end of the conversation the representative just continued to push his own narrative. After I declined to retain them for $6k, I received an email saying "after careful consideration we decline to represent your case" The email wasn't even from Tully Rinkey. It was from "***************" with the lawyers email cc'd 'name'**********, and 2 other names cc'd ************* They are just a bait & switch broker for lawyers. Also the lawyer I spoke too said he was with Washington D.C. but calling from NC... I'd stay away... Lesson learned.Tully Rinckey PLLC

5 starsI had a very narrow legal need: I never registered for the Selective Service. Tully Rinckey assigned Dan Meyer to the task. He is a national security partner in the DC Office. The filing was simple, but the processing by the various offices was taking forever. I feared I would lose the job opportunity. Then we got an email it “could take months” to process; Dan called that comment out, elevated the issue with some choice language, and I was given my start date within a week. Am now on my way to a career in the Federal service. Thanks to TR and thanks to Dan ! If you have a need, big or small, get to Tully Rinckey!Review fromAl R

1 starNot BBB accredited. For a reason.
These guys are a scam. This isn't out of spite. This is because I don't want anyone wasting money or being swindled.
Honestly the whole time I've used them, I've literally had to call them and tell them how to do their jobs. I'll share the conversations and correspondence to support my claim. I even made video I'm willing to share with the public in order to show this firm is not about helping people. They need to be closed. My attorney did not do his job AT ALL and I'm willing to provide evidence on behalf of anyone willing to come forward as I am, and I can afford it. You should hear their mannerisms each time I called.
Feeling suspicious I hired someone else to review this firms practices and lack of work ethic. They said these guys aren't legit at all.
Please believe when I inform you they are not at all for helping people. I even have conversations I'll share to show how I've had to ask them repeatedly and even instruct them how to proceed. My supervisor falsified statements by writing two contradictory statements and I proved it. This firm tried to OMIT the evidence from two physical.. written statements.. supporting my claim! If I hadn't yelled at them to include it, they'd have not done so. These people are lazy and again, I will gladly share every detail in support of my claims with anyone as I have been doing.
Please use your intelligence when reading their positive reviews and decide for yourself if this is a lie. Reviews up to April, 18, 2023.Review fromJay C

5 starsHaving never had interactions with lawyers or a firm prior, I was nervous going into my consultation… but Allen and the entire team at Tully Rinckey were amazing. They provided relevant and much-needed guidance and support, as well as went out of their way to represent me and my best interests. Cannot recommend him enough!Review fromA. H

5 starsStellar customer service and *excellent* legal advise.
Everyone at Tully was so supportive and helpful, every step of the way. My attorney's security clearance consultation was as comforting as it was skilled. His counsel was excellent. On top of that, his depth of knowledge of the security clearance process put me at ease. On top of all this, he was so friendly and personable. A true pleasure. I look forward to continued work with Tulley Rinckey.Review fromjeremy m

I hired this firm in 2022 for a custody/support case. I was promised a firm that would help me fight for my rights as a father. That is far from what I got. My attorney Micheal was great over the phone. But the guy they had show up to my court dates was not (Thomas). This man had to be constantly reminded about his court room actions (repeatedly standing up when asked to sit), he said nothing to defend my position. There wasn't a ounce of courage in him. All the while the petitioners lawyer was running the show making me look like a fool. Every day before court I had to explain every detail to him because it appears he couldn't communicate with Micheal. It wouldn't be a big deal if he didn't show up last minute every single time. I expressed my concerns to Tulley Rinkley and nothing changed. Then a third lawyer got involved and came to court to, all without this being made known to me. I was instructed to talk to her because it's cheaper. They wanted me to talk to some lady I never met before or know nothing about on matters involving my personal court case without my consent or knowledge. I guess all in all if you want to pay over 7,000 dollars to look like a fool in court these are the guys to go with.Tully Rinckey PLLC
