I am adding documents to my issue regarding an ATM scam from Ifixscreens in ***********, **. They told me to take out cash so I didnt have to pay tax and lied on the phone and said they use OEM/original parts when I asked on the phone saying I needed to replace my screen to trade it in to Apple or ********* telling me that is original knowingly that the screen they would be replacing it with is not Apple Certified and does not have Apple parts and therefore wouldnt be eligible for a trade in at Apple or any phone service provider. I also was not aware of the terms and conditions and never signed the document on the invoice. I took my phone to a ******** store and they said its ineligible for trade in because they took out the special strip in the phone that identifies Apple products and it says unknown part in settings and display. A month later my phone turns black during calls and my back screen broke and calls cut in and out. I also called them shortly after and I asked and they stated the Apple logo would remain on the back. I dont know if they messed with my phone or not and I have no proof of that. I filed a police report. The official report with Suffolk ************************ will be available within 24 hours and will be provided as soon as possible, as this is considered a civil matter and I can only escalate this to civil court. Attached is the invoice as well. I emailed the customer service department info@******************** and called their website number and never received a reply regarding this matter. This email will be forwarded to them. Their corporate number is **************.
