      I have canceled my services 5 times now and their "retention" department keeps denying me the ability to do that. I don't know how a company can deny providing you with services tell you that a technician is coming out, (never shows up) Tell you that they are sending you a new gateway and that never shows up. HOW IN GOD'S NAME IS THIS COMPANY STILL IN BUSINESS??? Please join me in making a report to the ****************** about this company.

      This is the worst company I have ever used and them and **** have a monopoly in my area so your choice is expensive trash vs more expensive trash. I am so sick of my internet connection disappearing at 10pm every single night. This has happened for days on end now, they've sent multiple techs, including a senior one, I've exchanged the gateway they gave me with another and still the issue persists. The senior tech they sent out, they've sent him before and every time he comes he does absolutely nothing and is on the phone taking personal calls the entire time. It's so frustrating because they give ZERO info about anything to the customer and they lie on their outage page. Internet is always out but there's never an outage on the map. They need to split the load if it's too much or release their monopoly hold on the area so other ISPs can come in and help lighten the load. I am so tired of nothing getting done. I can't ***, do school or training, anything, everything has to be done from 8am-10pm or I'm out of luck. Mind you I'm still paying FULLPAYMENT for incomplete service. I reported them to the *** and now I'm here. This company has a LONG documented history of this and no one is doing anything to stop them - this country and ***** company needs to do better by consumers - we make the world go round, if we stop buying who are they selling to? I see exactly why this *********** isn't accredited, it should honestly be shut down. *****.

      *** dropped off equipment said he would pick it up if I changed my mind. I changed my mind he never responded to any of my messages to come get the equipment then I was charged way more than the initial quote

      I am very disappointed with Optimum's lack of transparency. I was charged for a "cable box" that was never mentioned during the installation process. My apartment complex covers cable fees, yet I received a bill stating I owed a monthly fee for a cable box. When I declined the cable box during installation, the technician assured me it was free. So, I don't understand these unexpected charges. I have already paid the late fees, but I am requesting a refund. There needs to be greater transparency and accountability.

      Nothing like turning in the equipment to use their service and being told that I have to call the 1800 number to cancel the service. I call the 1800 number and they charged me for another month of service that I couldn't even access since I had turned in the equipment.

      Internet Service is completely unacceptable. It hardly ever works! It has been out since 8-16-24. I have talked to them several times and they keep telling me they are working on it outside my house and there is no one anywhere in my subdivision. They will not let me talk to anyone in a supervisory capacity. They say they are not allowed to calls.

      ************* I wouldnt recommend them to my worst enemies!.???? So I only have ************ with them and my service has been terrible off and on for a week and a half . They offered me an appointment for a technician to come out and have a look to see what the problem is, but I always declined because the modem is brand new and at first I followed all of the instructions to fix the problem at home and it still never worked so they would keep asking Do you want a technician to come out but again I declined so the service would stop working again smh until finally I gave in and said yes to the technician appointment. After that miraculously my **** started working again but when it was time for the technician to show up something came up and I had to cancel and yep all of a sudden my WiFi went down again. And now its very iffy smh the customer service ***** and arent a lot of help at all. Worst company ever!

      I canceled service end of February. Receiving bills for January. Did not even have their service in my house at all. I was under a new provider in *************** not be able to charge people for stuff they did not use. Worst customer service worst providers. They are money hungry because they are losing all their business so taking advantage of customers

      I had my cable disconnected in 2/2024 then in 5/2024 I had my internet service disconnected. Optimum has yet to disconnect the service completely. They say I have to reconnect my service to have it disconnected. At the time I disconnected I only had the remainder of my bill left to pay which was paid when due. Adding a note to the bill saying MAKE SURE MY SERVICE IS DISCONNECTED THAT I WILL NO LONGER PAY FOR ANY SERVICE. Well they are still billing me and have sent my past due amount (because they keep billing me) to some collection service called ****** * ******. I asked them to disconnect my service and they failed to do so. I have had an antenna put up every since I have terminated service so why would I need their service. I feel that they are taking advantage of the elderly.

      Terrible company, price gouging, constantly disruptive service, and lack of customer support. I am waiting for another Internet provider to service my area as I will switch in one minute.
