      The worst customer service I ever had to deal with! i've been trying to part with the company since 6/8/22. Wasted time on the phone. The people I spoke on the phone were not helping at all. They offered 3 months free. I said i dont care at this point. I am not using it anyway because the wires are disconnected. I cant use it even if i wanted to. Called again in September to cancel, as was agreed. They not only didnt cancel it, they added some promotion i didnt want. I called again in october to cancel. Finally, they said they would cancel the service. I returned the equipment the next day. However, i got charged after that, $52.68. They said my acct is in processing of closing until 11/18. I was advised I should call back and ask for refund after 11/18. I dont think i can have any more patience. They were nasty and hung up on me 2x today. What kind of gang is this?? Please do not sign up for Altice USA. I will request my credit card to fight for me. They do not deserve any stars, but system requires rating.

      The service was terrible I have a TV that I can't use right now because the system has messed up they installed the system and didn't even have it a full day and it crashed they put a hole in my floor and didn't even ask about doing it then never cleaned it up I had two systems set up and only one worked for awhile the other never worked now they won't even talk to us I will never use them for anything again

      Internet keeps disconnecting. They want you to pay 80 dollars for a technician to come and find what the problem is. I called them every other day. No solution. You call you talk to someone in ***** they can't fix anything.

      This jerks man.
      I canceled service with them 10/7
      And they legit charged me for 10/7-11/6 and refuse to wave the charges.
      Well enjoy not getting a penny from me then.... i was happy and willing to pay my final bill of UP TO 10/7. When i had it shut off. Now, i wont pay you a thing. ****. Go somewhere else these are horrid people. I cant even believe how rude the employees were the supervisors etc.
      When i called on 10/7 the woman said i wouldnt be charged from that date because my cycle starts the 7th. You need to honor your word! Honestly yall are crooks then and need to be shut down. Ill be calling whoeever are state rep is after elections tomorrow about this.

      We live in the town of **********-
      We are stuck with Optimum.
      This time- we wanted to upgrade to fiber. 2 days before they were to come and do the install of fiber and upgrade the equipment our service went out. We called and they said it was because we were getting the upgrade. We told them they had to turn us back on. they did after a fight.
      the service man shows up on the Saturday he was supposed to- very nice guy- only for him to tell us that the service was out, not working and we would have to reschedule- so we did.
      2 days before the service man was to come and do the installation service goes out- we call they turn it back on. Service man comes out to do the install only to find out there is no signal at the pole- need a truck to come a replace the part on the pole- we reschedule for 3 wks from that day.
      Now it is 2 days before the next attemp install and service goes out- REALLY!
      On the phone for hours with them denying they turned it off.
      Hours later it is back on- REALLY.
      *******- WHEN ARE YOU BRINGING YOUR 5G SERVICE TO THE TOWN TO ********** SO I CAN SWITCH TO A SERVICE THAT ACCUALLY WORKS?

      Suddenlink changed to Optimum in my area, which is *********** *** We do not have the luxuries as big cities have, they choices in provider services. Here we are a small town and have 3 choices and in which aren't very good. Optimum has raised the prices from the switch from Suddenlink. I have chosen to go to another service, however trying to get someone in customer service at Optimum is nearly impossible. I have tried "chat" I've tried "calling" multiple 888 numbers to only speak to a automatic robot. I have said "discontinue service" and the robot says "sorry I don't understand." When I say "Customer service," its says "sorry I don't understand." So I am here still trying to get help to cancel my service and it has been approximately 2 weeks that I have been doing this pony show. All I need to do is cancel it, and I know in the fine print somewhere they will charge me for something that I have been trying discontinue. Horrible customer service!!!!

      Starting this review is seemingly pointless. The fact you can be this negatively reviewed and still be a company is sad. We HAVE to use you. There is no other option in ****** *******. The internet is not all that great and is not all that expensive so i am not so concerned about that. What is upsetting is that they target the IP of people they deem worthy to throttle. I am ONE person in a single little apartment. I watch youtube and play games. I lose my internet for about 2 hours a day sporadically. for sometimes 20 minutes for sometimes an hour. I thought it was just spotty. Nope. I recently changed to a VPN so they cannot tell what my IP is..... I dont have that problem anymore. Although the VPN causes other issues it does prove that when my IP is visible to these absolute ******** they throttle my internet down to non-existent. When it is not I am fine. Imagine that. Pathetic. Do not go with this company if you have the option. I am thinking about going to a worst alternative. Satellite. At leas tthey are honest about not being unlimited data. ******* will tell you its unlimited and than toss that claim in the garbage. I would give you less than 1 star if possible.

      I am writing this review because I am tired of paying for horrible service. Optimum has the worst customer service. I spoke with a gentleman in the retention department who actually told me they dont care about loyalty because people will just leave when they want to. I suppose they just dont get it because we wouldnt leave if you valued loyalty.I had called at the request of the company to renew my current annual package and was told that the price had gone up. As I tried to negotiate because other companies were offering same package for a lower price, he interrupted me and began raising his voice for about 5 minutes explaining how the company doesnt have any loyalty packages, the price has gone up like groceries in the store and there is nothing he can do so if I dont like it then I dont have to stay.I told him you are absolutely right. I dont have to be with this company and I wont be treated so poorly by a service I pay for. Optimum should be ashamed of themselves and are definitely not deserving of my loyalty.

      optimum has the absolute worst customer service and supervisors. I was charged for promotion for TV service when i unaware since i only signed up for internet service, since I'm on autopay they've been charging my account and stated they sent me email. after further research, no email was sent to me. I did not sign and or authorize additional charges. Supervisor id ***** could only reiterate the policy of 3 months free app. He stated they can review the calls and will coach the representative. please note I've called in multiple times spoke to multiple representatives and advised id received my credits of 2 months. I've received 1 credit and they refuse to issue additional credit. Now it's not allot of money it's about $15 each month it's the principal that these corporation get away with these types of things. There is no signature or voice recording stating i approve them to take more money out of my account. I never even used such app since i was unaware of the promotion. Agent refused to help and honor what was advised to me as per remarks on the account and recordings. This is why so many customers are opting for additional carrier's lack of integrity and empathy with economy increase. As long as they continue to steal from people i guess that's how they stay afloat. Flaws earnings! No integrity! The customer is wrong! Policy only driven! Slamming their customers should be ashamed of themselves. Oh no corporate email i have to be inconvenience and head to post office and mail a letter! Great customer experience NOT! There are other cellular wireless carriers now offers better uncapped internet for your home! Review your options before signing up with Optimum .... there are options out there
