      Their service-if you could call it that-is the worst EVER!!!! Ive only had their service since May. Ive had 4 modems and 8 techs here to TRY to fix my intermittent internet problem. Today I was scheduled to have tech number 9 here between 10a and 8p. No one ever showed up after waiting all day!!!! Honestly I dont know what else to do. Any suggestions? Im at **** end with this company. The sad thing is where else do I go?The only saving ******Ive only got their internet and not their phone or cable or Id really be in a mess worse than I am now.By the waythe internet just went down while Im sending this. I had to switch to my phones Wi-Fi.This is HORRIBLE!!!!!!

      this is for suddenlink, altice, optimum because they keep changing their name. During the last switch to optimum. My account has been lost. The account that they are looking at I believe *** have belonged to the previous tenant. They have me owing more money than I owe. I have made multiple attempts to get it corrected. In August I went to pay my bill which is ***** and is way too high for the service. I showed it had been paid. I looked at my bank account and this company had taken ****** from my bank acccount I am NOT ON AUTOPAY and I did NOT authorize it. My bank advised me to close my account and open a new one. This company keeps shutting my service off and asking for more money to turn it back on. I have been paying with a money order since the theft and I refuse to give them my bank account information. I am talking to an attorney and legal actions seems to be the route that needs to be taken. *********************

      Ordered fiber internet 9/26/2022, installed 9/30/2022. On October 5, 2022 internet was terminated by Optimum after it was prepaid on 9/26/2022 and had to agree to auto pay before the installation would be scheduled. **************** reprsentatives transferred me 3 times and I spent over 3 hours on the phone. None of the customer service reps could resolve the problem and just told me they would transfer me to someone who could help with my problem only for me to be placed back in a telephone loop waiting to speak with the next useless Optimum rep. I complained to the *** and was contacted by Optimum executive customer service. I told him that I wanted to cancel the service as it came with a 60 day money back guarantee if not satisfied and he said he would research and get back to me. It is Oct 14, 2022 and I have not heard back from him, but, I did receive today an invoice for internet services for October 5 to Nov 11 2022 that they have not provided and can't provide because they can't figure out why I don't have internet. I have to list one star or they will not accept my review. They are entitled to minus stars.

      Absolute worst!!!! **************** takes forever. **** is beyond awful especially working from home. ****** priced. Unfortunately the only Option in our neighborhood. Be better!!

      The worst Cable and TV provider on the planet. AVOID them at all cost. Pay the extra $9 dollars a month and go with any other company. Their customer service is horrid, their technicians have been "NO SHOWS" for this month. Never finished the installation and want to charge me for a service that has never been installed.I feel sorry for those of you that have Optimum as the only game in town - perhaps you should look to the satellite companies and diminish Optimum's market share, because that is the only way the company will consider changing their horrendous customer service.

      It's a horrible company. Very sneaky and not client oriented.Don't deal with them if you can avoid it.Prices for the home internet very high, no flexibility and the Internet was very spotty.I was with the Suddenlink (******, **) for 6 years and they were bad...., but they had monopoly and we didn't have any choice.In 2022 Optimum bought them and got worse!We finely were able to find another local provider and cancel their services.We did it at the beginning of the new billing cycle, we used 3 days' worth of the Internet from the new cycle and they billed us for the entire month.When I tried to ask for the prorated bill, they wouldn't do it.... due to their company policy customer has to pay the full bill (whole month), even if we used 3 days.But we weren't informed, and we didn't sign any ennoblement.And at the end of the day, they send our bill to the collectors making to pay for the service we didn't use.

      Sudden link becomes optimum, a tell contacts my wife and flat out lies to her about multiple aspects. One tells her the have to come change the router.Two that our **************** will be better Three that at most or **** might go up but no more than twenty dollars We now have only one Internet line in the house that is at Best unreliable, before we had a 5&3g signal the old 3g worked better than what they put in ( I'm confused how this is better) Two we were not required to allow them in to do this but they convinced her it was a necessity.Three it's not her name on the account so she actually couldn't authorize it Four our bill has gone up by nearly fifty dollars a month. They are liars and thieves and please don't try to get a person on the phone won't happen. I wish I knew the names of the optimum contractors that came here but we don't.

      We have been without the capability to record our shows that we watch. We have waited for a technician to be able to fix the problem. After waiting for the situation to be resolved today, we were advised that we cannot get the connection weve been waiting for and the technician advised us he cannot get the connection to come through with the new boxes. We are now having to go back to the old/new box where we can only watch what is on tv at the time it is actually on. Im so disappointed in suddenlink/optimum service. Weve had their services for many years and have dealt with all the problems in the past but this is unacceptable. Do not recommend this company to anyone.

      My service doesnt work half the time. Ive called and they just tell me to unplug my router. I finally got fed up and called to cancel. They say I cant cancel until the end of my billing cycle. So I have to continue paying for almost the whole month for service that doesnt work. Beyond ridiculous.

      Suddenlink is the absolute worst company. We recently moved and I forgot to return their equipment. They charged my account on file. I returned the equipment a few days later. I was given a printed sheet of paper stating how to get my refund. I called the same afternoon and was told I had to wait 24 hours for it to show. I called a couple of days later and was told I would get my refund in 3 to 5 days. No problem, right. 10 days goes by and I call back and am now told I have to wait 14 days. That was never mentioned in the conversation. I asked for the recording that they state they do for quality assurance. This is also another lie. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH SUDDENLINK/OPTIMUM!
