      Cancelled services in July. Was told i would not be charged anything further. Still receiving a bill that they refuse to do anything about even after being shown that they'd told me i would not owe anything.

      Went from July 28 till September 15 without TV and internet services. Was lied to some many times about when they were going to fix it. Called to get my bill taken care of and all I got was a $20.60 credit. She advised me I still owed them $420. How is this right? Spoke to several supervisors and was spoken to like a dog! I was told if I wasnt home for the service tech I would be charged $60 for a service fee. This company knows they are the only option in our area and I think they take advantage of that. I have been a customer for 21 years and this how we get treated!

      Zero stars. Only gave it a one because I couldn't submit the review without one. The regular extended cable channels I have always gotten randomly converted to HD channels. Issue has been present for months. First agent online told me there was an outage (I looked, no outage and not relevant to the issue). The agent completely ignored my problem, said have a good day and disconnected the chat. The next agent I spoke to on the phone basically told me I never got the channels or that it was a promotion but it was not. She would not listen to me and was not helpful at all in resolving my issue. For example, channel *************************************** that I could watch movie similar to E entertainment, Freeform, or Hallmark. There are already designated HD channels in the 200s range. Channel 50 should be standard definition. I get error messages ON CHANNEL 50 now saying I don't have access to HD Channel 250. I was trying to get my standard definition channels back. No help, she did not listen, and had a terrible tone and attitude with me trying to convince me that I had a promotion. If having an "HD Cable Box" is the issue I should have been offered a regular box or it should have been discussed with me at installation. Nowhere in my initial bill did it show that I was getting an upgrade for only a few months. If it showed standard definition programming before, it should still show it. I am just so dissatisfied with the service and the poor way they handled my situation. I can't even find anywhere to remove the "cable" service. I should not be paying $92/month for 12 channels (news) and internet.

      Optimum is by far the WORST service I have EVER had in my life. I paid to restore my services and it has been over 24 hours and I have yet to have my service back on. My husband and I have spoke to literally 8 people in total and all they telling us all different stories! First wait 15 min, then 2 hours, then 4 hours then 24 hours then 48 hours. And still nothing! At this point I dont need, want and going to spend my money on them! ?????

      The long version is at least **** words. I have had issues for a month now. 3 of my small cable boxes do not work. I have talked to several people over this time. Have completed countless re boots. Scheduled 2 service calls the first left before the issue was resolved and one of my TVs now has a spot where light shines through. I called again and again trying to get this resolved finally decided to make another appointment for 9/28/2022 The 2nd never showed up, at first I was told they were probably running late. I got on a live chat and that person tried to make me think I was wrong and my appointment was for the following day but when I called I was told it was rescheduled, I asked why I was not called and that no one would be able to open the door. I was told it would only be for the outside. Someone called and texted me today asking if anyone was home. I texted him a quick response he asked if I would call him. I gave him the history of the last month. I told him no one could be there at this time. I am so unhappy with the service I have received. I have been a customer since ****. Makes me sad this is the way customers are treated.

      Sent me equipment I never ordered or requested, said it "comes with my package". Then they immediately started charging for it. Bunch of crooks, stay away

      They cut the cable to my house, insisted it was equipment would not send someone out w/o a charge & ran me around picking up new equipment. Finally some one out and found the CUT piece to my house. Promised to credit account for service disruption, after 8 months of no credit I made complaint to FCC finally credited which worked out to be "0" as they added fees for sending in 2 payments that were not full payments, they totaled $12.00 And fees were excessive they did credit the fees Not trustworthy company giving up service & going w/a data plan for *************

      Probably the worst provider i have ever had. Locked down modem, outages almost daily, and service so unreliable I'm scared to use it for fear of being disconnected. ********************* support try their best with what they can but want to charge me an additional $60 for a tech to come out. I already pay about $76.97 for just internet alone. If i could switch i would, but they have a monopoly on "High-speed" internet in my area. File an FCC complaint for action, the reviews speak for themselves.

      Optimum, being the only provider in our community (**********, Bronx), price gouges for services that others pay a lot less for and I am unable to get fair pricing unless I threaten to cancel. Case in point, since 2016 I have had ONLY internet service (because their cable prices, well, that's another topic). Pricing seemed decent enough at the time, about $50 plus taxes, fees. By 2021 I was paying $93.38 / mo (this includes taxes and fees) for basic 200 mbps internet. By 2022 I was paying $100.38 / mo for same speed and spotty service while they advertised 300 mbps on their website and on TV for $30/mo. I called at least twice in 2021 to question pricing, get it lowered, even take advantage of pricing they mailed to my house - but was always told I was not eligible for their "promotions". They would discount $10 here or there but that was it UNTIL I called recently and said CANCEL IT ... then all of a sudden they could give me a "promotion", again for the same 200 mbps, for $30. Why!!?? As a new customer I could get 1 GIG for less than I was paying before. They run amok here in Co-Op. You have to stay on top of this company or they will be more than happy to turn a blind eye and take as much money as possible.

      I was promised a $200 **** gift card when I signed up for Sunddenlink (now Optimum) December 2021. I still have not received the card and I have spent several hours of my personal time working with Optimum customer service to make this happen. I was told that the gift card comes from a third party and that company has been contacted to deliver my my card. They gave me the phone number to the third party but that company does not pick up their phone. At this point, there seems to be no hope in sight. Optimum, who promised me a $200 gift card, pawns the responsibility to another company who doesn't follow through. An absolute scam.
