On January 24, 2023, I tried to add additional money to a laundry card using a CSC Serviceworks machine in my apartment building. I put $20 in the machine but the machine did not add the $20 to my card and it did not give the $20 back to me. Then I decided to try and purchase a new laundry card and put $5 into the machine but again the machine did not issue a new card and it also did not give the $5 back to me. I reported this to the front desk concierge in my apartment building and she informed me that they had already put in a service request for the machine and I would have to contact the company directly to get a refund. I called the company's customer service number at (###-###-####) on 1/24/23 and placed a refund request for $25 and received an email confirmation (#********) of the request. Subsequently, after not receiving a replacement card, I called the company again on 2/10/23 (Confirmation # ********) and sent an email request on 2/14/23
(Confirmation #********) and spoke to a Customer Service Representative again on 2/15/23 (Confirmation #********). Each time I was told that a replacement card had been mailed to me in January but I never received it. I even asked a representative from my apartment building management office to contact the company about my refund and she contacted them on 2/15/23 and was informed that they would send me another replacement card. It is now March 2023 and I have not received the laundry replacement card for the $25 I lost in the CSC Serviceworks machine in my apartment building. As noted above, I have placed numerous phone calls to the customer service number and emailed them and also got my apartment building management office involved to no avail so far. The company owes me a replacement laundry card or a check for $25, but they have repeatedly misrepresented that they had already sent the card in the mail or have been evasive when asked for specifics about the refund. CSC Service Works provides the washer and dryers and ****** ** ****** ****. They charge $1.75 per wash and $1.75 per dryer unit. The washer and dryer units have NOT been working properly for the last 2 - 3 months. Clothes are not coming out clean after being washed and the dryers are NOT drying clothes. I WILL not and should NOT have to pay $5.00 + to dry a small load of regular clothes. Additionally, the clothes come out STINKING after being washed and dried in their units.
I want my money back and I strongly suggest they send someone out to ****** ** ****** ****. to service these worthless machines. I can get a lawyer and we can discuss the potential health hazards that they may become liable for not to mention the money they are stealing from every single resident that lives here going through the same frustration as I am. I'm not intimated by a big company such as CSC and they have never met the likes of me! FIX THIS GARBAGE! Your representatives need customer service training as well.Customer Answer

The contract requires the building to send in a notice of termination within 6-12 months prior to the expiration of the contract. I sent in a termination letter timely via certified mail and they are claiming they don't have it. They also owe the non-profit building over $50k and claim its due to deducting expenses from the commission which is not part of the contract.Business Response

I live in Delray Beach, FL and placed a service request on Jan 6th 2023 for a leaking washing machine (#********
The technician came on January 9th 2023 and determined the machine needed to be replaced.
I have repeatedly called both the company and our management company (who has been in contact with CSC Sevice Works) and have had no response for 7 weeks!

CSC ServiceWorks provides washer and dryer machine services to apartment complexes in the local area. Two of the dryers at **** ********* **** ******* and ******* in the 1st floor laundry room have been out of service, not in working order for the past two years. The heating elements in the dryers have never worked, possibly defective, providing no efficient heat to dry the clothes. The address the operators at the service number ###-###-#### ask about is another address, **** ******** **** not of the one **** ********* **., where the service request has been forwarded to yet never received. Operators that indicate they will put in a service order that a technician will be sent over to **** ********* *** by a given date are not fulfilled but neglected. Operators also give the information that a notification proving that a technician has checked the problem with both dryers will be placed on both machines. No notification has ever been found because no technician has ever been sent! What information given has been a complete lie! Tenants in the hall of **** ********* *** put their money put into those two dryers are then lost due to never having been checked out at all! This has been going on for the past two years! The tenants have been forced to take their laundry over to **** ********* *** where the two dryers are in proper working order. This has been a total inconvenience to all tenants of **** ********* **.! Complaints have been forwarded to the rental office of The BLVD at ***** ******** *********** *** *****, but the rental agents there have advised the tenants they have nothing to do with the services of CSC ServiceWorks. This has been frustrating and infuriating! On January 11, 2023, I called appliance warehouse to lease a washer and dryer unit at the house I was renting at the time. On January 17, 2023 the washer and dryer was delivered. There was a 2 month minimum on the lease. On January 25, 2023, I called appliance warehouse and said I needed the units picked up because a house for rent became available that included a washer and dryer. I said I understood the 2 month minimum and would pay for the second month but would be out of my current house by March 1. They scheduled pick up for February 9. On that morning I called at 9:08am and was told it was rescheduled due to short staffing (after first being told it was scheduled for the day before and missed my appointment which was untrue) for March 9. I said that would not work because I move out at the end of February. They asked if a manager could let them in. I said no because it is a house not an apartment. I have called everyday since with no help and/or being on hold for 25+ minutes. I paid the second month payment on February 9. It is currently still scheduled for pick up on March 9 and I will have no way of having access to the house and will have been moved by the time.Business Response

Pickup of the equipment was yesterday, March 9 at 10:45. Although I called around 8:45 in the morning and verified that I would receive a call when the drivers were about an hour away, they called at 10:35 and stated they were pulling into the driveway. I then had to scramble to get ahold of my previous leasing agent as I no longer had access to the house and leave work to stay with the drivers until that leasing agent arrived. To state that this has been an inconvenience is quite the understatement. I have continued to accrue invoices for the equipment that I would like to see taken off of my account as I have been fighting to get these units picked up for the past 6 weeks and feel I should not be charged due to your businesss' lack of staffing and time management.

March 2022 we moved into the home *** ***** ** *********** ** managed by conrex rental properties. Upon move in we were informed of Appliance warehouse for washer dryer rentals through through conrex. We were provider contact info. October 7 2022 we moved due to military orders and were told the washer dryer was picked up October 14 2022. We were not allowed to be at the final inspection of the property which to my knowledge occurred October 10 2022. I requested to be present and was denied by conrex, and I supplied my forwarding address and information. I never received my final inspection paperwork and have requested it multiple times from conrex. Fast forward I still have been charged since October for the washer and dryer and have contacted Appliance warehouse multiple times and they initially said that the account was not closed out correctly and they closed it out and issued a refund. I got charged the following month and they said they never picked up the washer and dryer on the 14th. I scheduled for them to pick it up on January 10th, where the employee entered the home and found no washer and dryer are are actively charging me. I am seeking a refund and closing of the account from conrex and appliance warehouse as I did my portion and was informed in October the washer and dryer were picked up. So my only thoughts are appliance warehouse lost it and won’t admit it or conrex’s contractors relocated them and conrex will not provide contact information for the contractors responsible for final inspection. I am seeking a refund for the money I have been charged for the washer and dryer and action against conrex for denying me of a move out inspection as from what I have found, it is my right.Business Response

Based on the account records Appliance Warehouse attempted to retrieve the equipment on the following dates:
10/14/2022: noted on the pick up notes a leasing off representative to be present prior to entry, go to leasing office for permission to enter
1/10/2023: driver stated unit was vacant
On 1/24/2023 the pickup work order was cancelled, and the account was sent to collections, due to there not being equipment on site.
The serial #'s from the equipment were ran numerous of times, to confirm Appliance Warehouse does not have the equipment showing in the warehouse inventory list or delivered somewhere else. The system last shows the equipment were installed at *** ***** ***** *********** ** and were never picked up.
In order to get this matter resolved, you will have to reach out to ****** ****** *********** Appliance Warehouse cannot assist further with this claim.

The date of the transaction was: January 13, 2023; I remember using the machine in the late evening hours/night

I contacted CSC on February 06, 2023 for a refund due to one of their machines malfunctioning upon washing my clothes. The initial phone call was made January 14, 2023 in the morning due to the business being closed the night of the 13th. Upon calling the business the morning of the 14th, I realized that they were not open during the weekend at all. And of course, I made several attempts to obtain a refund online, but the refund section of their web site was not working; the refund section of their web site is still not working about three weeks later.
Today (it dawned on me I forgot about this issue) I phoned CSC at about 4:12 p.m., and I waited over half an hour for a representative to answer the phone call. Then when a representative finally took my call, I was told by this worker that she did not know how to refund me my money due to the method I paid (community residents are given a card for use where we add money and pay for laundry services with the card). After about 5 minutes of being put on hold for this information that should be basic knowledge, I told her usually CSC sends a check in the mail. The representative then informed me that they only process refunds within two days. The biggest problem with this as I told her is that this occurred during the weekend, and two days would not have been enough time for me to reach the company thereby making it impossible to receive a refund. I also stated to her that I made several attempts the weekend the machine malfunction occurred to get a refund using the web site, but the web site was not working properly. After declaring that reporting an issue within two days is unreasonable, I asked to speak to a manager. Apparently no managers were available at the moment. Judging by the horrible customer service, I doubt I will hear from this manager and/or receive a refund.Business Response

As a resolution to your concerns, a $1.75 refund check was processed. Please allow 10-12 business days for the check to get, processed, mailed and delivered. A confirmation was sent to your email address as well.
For future resources please read the following:
Residents can report
lost funds within 1-2 business days of losing the funds and the refund must be
associated with a service request for verification. We do not authorize for
mass refunds over a span of time. The online form Refund
Request – CSC ServiceWorks (cscsw.com) is for minor refunds for one broken machine at a time. If you utilize
the CSC Go or CSC Pay Mobile applications, you need to request a refund via in
mobile app (by using the service request feature in the app), instead of the
online form, as you will be directed to the app. Large refunds requested online
with no information about how the funds were lost are not able to be approved.
Any time funds are lost in one machine, you may use the online form within two
business days, if possible. If two or more machines are used, please call us at
###-###-#### to report the machines and request a refund. For additional

On January 23 , my debit card was charged to fees of twenty dollars each. I only tried to put twenty on my card. All together i was charged 40 dollars on my bank card and nothing went on the mobile app .They have not responded to any emails. If purchased funds did not successfully make it to the account, or if there were double charges, our security feature should reverse those funds automatically after a few business days of the incident if they were successfully received on our end.
If the charges showed up as approved, and no longer pending, please dispute the charges with your bank as this error means they did not successfully make it to our financial software for us to be able to reverse. Feel free to provide this to your bank as written verification we cannot assist on our end in this case.
Your banking institution has the technology and the resources to reverse the transactions on their end.
Before any additional transactions are attempted, please replace the saved card on file to delete any errors regarding the saved data. After it is replaced, you may re-register the initial card if needed, but we recommend using a different payment method if possible for future refills.
If you were asked to input a billing address, we require the billing address and billing zip code for extra security when it comes to authorizing transactions, and it needs to be formatted a particular way in some cases. Improperly registered billing addresses may cause this error.
We do not require the street suffix (St, Ave, etc.) or the city and state, as those are covered by the billing zip code section. If the app doesn't recognize your street numbers + street name, try two more times:
-Once with the street name only
-Once with the numbers only
Our customers who experienced errors with their billing address were able to remedy it with either only their street name or only their street numbers as alternatives.
