I was due a refund several months ago due to a malfunction with the washer at my previous address. I requested it be sent in the form of a check as to I no longer live in the community. I got an email telling me to use my card before it's too late. I called, a lady processed everything. Or so I thought. She never had my correct information. We have 5 washers and 5 dryers in our building and no washers have worked for more than two months. We have filed multiple complaints with the company and nothing happens. No one comes and we sit paying for non working machines. Terrible company that no one should useBusiness Response

CSC has know way of knowing machines on site are inoperable/malfunctioning unless a tenant or property management calls in.
Machines on site is what was requested by the authorized user on the account/property manager and likely intended to be kept for a period of time. The property management would have to request new machines for the site. Regarding the machine replacement, we advise you to reach out to management. CSC will continue to service the current machines, as long as a request is placed. Basically I moved on Sept 30th and called to have my washer and dryer that I rent from them moved to my new place that's only 10 mins away. I originally had the pick up and delivery date for 10/3 but I called that day and had it moved to 10/7. I requested for them to have the leasing office to let them in. The driver was late and didn't show up until after the leasing office was closed so i had to rush to him in order to let him in for pick up. I found out at that time that he wasn't delivering the same day as I was told on 10/3. I was told I had to wait til 10/10 which was my birthday. I had a dinner that I was late to on 10/7. Then on 10/10 he put me last again and I had to call to get him here only for him to not have my washer and dryer but a completely different one that wasn't what I had been paying for. I was told that they lost it or gave it to someone else. We rescheduled again for 10/13 for delivery. I worked from home so that I could be here for delivery. I have been here all day and no delivery at all. I have called early to check with the driver he didn't have my equipment at all. I have asked repeatedly for supervisors and giving the run around or hung up on. I have been randomly transferred to people that can't help me. Even one girl got mad because the company is making her look bad (her words) and she cancelled my order instead of further helping me. I've been told that they can't deliver tomorrow but currently have a ticket and some manager in the warehouse named ***** stating that they will deliver tomorrow for me. I'm not sure if my equipment was stolen or what is happening but I need a credit and a refund and for my equipment to finally be delivered. September 21, 2022, CSC takes a credit card payment from me over the phone for $60 and tells me that I will be able to access the washing machines. They give me an access code of ********** in order to apply the $60 for the washing machines.. After getting off the phone call, the access code does not work on any machines in any of the buildings at ******** **** in Arlington. I called back at 4:25 PM EST on 9/22/2022 which is when Herlin explained to me that there would have to be a refund issued to me because the apartment complex does not have any keypads allowing for any type of code entry. She further stated that I should have never been charged because I was given wrong information three hours earlier by her colleagues who had incorrectly advised me that I would be able to use a code in a complex which has no keypads.. On August 24th 2022, I was sent a survey by this company for consumer research on Laundry. I am a CSC costumer via the apartment I lived in. The company offered me $25 for my time to finish their survey for their research purposes. They quoted the time to complete the survey at 10-20 minutes. I finished it shortly after.
The email specifically states,
"Greetings!
You have been chosen to participate in this brief 10-20 minute survey. As a thank-you, we will send a $25 valued incentive for your time—Limited to one participant per account and/or household and by invitation only. Incomplete, insincere, or non-sense responses will not be accepted. Not valid where prohibited. Incentives are issued within two weeks of completing the survey."
So, this is an agreement. I have done paid research surveys before. It's work. It's basically a gig, you agree to do a service for them, and they're supposed to pay you on the agreed upon form of payment, which would be the $25 incentive. 2 weeks later, I never received an email for my incentive. At the end of the email they state you can reach out to them about any questions or concerns, as they state verbatim,
"As always, please feel free to reach out to us with any questions or concerns."
I replied to their email several times after the 2 weeks, several times, at various period after the 2 weeks, the latest being a few days ago, at 5 weeks+ post completion of the survey. No response. I sent fresh new emails about this issue, no response. I forwarded the original email, and expressed my concern about my incentive, no response. I want my incentive, this is essentially illegal. Front loading washers suck bleepidy bleeps im so sick and tired of this companies pointless washers they are ALWAYS BROKENNN and the amount of water that goes in couldnt keep a dUcks butt wet. The 6th floor no working washers the 5th floor NO working washing machines finally one works on the 8th flr. Im sick and tired of how discriminatory this company is it is NOT the customers breaking these useless washers they just SUCK replace them!!! I literally wash most of my clothes in the bathtub there is NO REASON WHY so many washers are CONSTANTLY BROKEN here and because its a LOW income building this discriminating company doesnt bother to come out regularly to fix them if they break this much REPLACE THEM i have lived in fancy apts with the same company never had issues here they dont care to come fix them or better yet REPLACE THEM front loaders SUCK!!! Every washer here sounds like metal grinding when water goes in EVERY washer i highly doubt thats nirmal Use some common sense im disgusted the way this company it IGNORES this building because its low income they DONT care about the customer unless its a luxury apt building and doesnt replace these machines they never WORK. Utterly discriminatory. I have literally waited 3 MONTHS to wash my sheets because i need to use the dryer and in that time tons of machines broken and these are not like the 7th floor where its a building issue.if every 3 months i have to struggle to find one washer that works forget about two washers working on the same flr i gave up on that after the first 3 months of living here. On June 27th,2022 I was doing laundry in my apt. bldg. the dryer ate my card and dryer not working. On 4/4/22 I called CSC to tell them I had just loaded a card that read Total of $10.65. I inserted it into one of their machines to do a wash and it said bad card. I tried a different machine and it read as bad also. The person said they would send me a refund. After few weeks of waiting I called back to ask if my check was sent. When I went to their website it said my refund was sent. The person said they would resubmit and once again no refund recieved. I called back a third time and this time they told me I had to return my card to them. I never had to do this in the past and they never told me this from the beginning of my request for a refund. I now either misplaced or destroyed the card (so it would not get mixed up with my good card that I had to purchase to do my laundry). I am out of 10.65 and they are refusing to give me back the money I lost. If my card was bad why did it let me load money onto it. I am retired on a limited budget and they can steal my money cause thats what I feel has happened. I hope you can help me recoup my money lost with their equipment. Thank youBusiness Response

Our company card refund policy has changed. We apologize you received incorrect information during the process while speaking to customer support agent(s). In the future, if you would like a card refunded or transferred, you will have to mail in your laundry card to our Customer Support Center address. Our Cards department will have to verify the remaining balance on the cards, as our Customer Service department does not have access to verify that information.
