  1. Bought a used 2022 CX5 from this business in January 2025. The salesman, ***** *. was very helpful. He gave me a test drive and answered most of my questions. I asked for an OTD price and got a quote that included the car price, car body protection fee plus taxes and fees (Sales taxes, doc fees, and an estimated license and title fee. I refused the car body protection fee. ***** *. did not pressure me into buying something that I did not want. However, here is where the process went downhill.I got charged a *********************** fee of $12.50 from Vehicle Sales **** ***** (**) -- the guy who processed all my paperwork and did the signing of the documents. This was not disclosed to me before purchase, and I did not purchase any new tires at the time of purchase of the vehicle. I was told by the ** that this is a usual charge. I checked the next day on the Department of Taxation and Finance (***************************************) and saw that this is not allowed by a business unless the customer purchases new tires at the time of sale. This was not the case. Also, ** listed the odometer miles on the car at 28 miles less than what was listed on the odometer at the time of purchase. He listed *****, and the odometer reading was ***** at the time of purchase. This is relevant because I got a 3-month or 4k miles guarantee as per the Lemon Law.I reached out to him by email to correct these, but he did not respond. I called many times, but he was always busy and did not answer the phone. I would like to get this resolved as soon as possible. I don't think this is a legitimate way to conduct business with customers. I am sure Mr. ***** is aware of these infractions, and I am very surprised that he chose not to correct them after they were brought to his attention via email. I would be very skeptical about doing business with this company in the future. I would like the Management of Mazda of New Rochelle to resolve these issues as soon as possible.

  They did not want me to get a ****** that was traded in looked at by a second mechanic. My mechanic found a leak from the engine but the engine was recently cleaned and detailed when Mazda had it in their care. They failed to report the leak to me for either negligence or bad faith. I told them how much the value of the car lessened and after negotiations fell through, they raised the price of the car by the lessened value. Essentially, if someone does their due diligence on inspecting the car, if they report what they find, Mazda would then agree to sell the car for what they originally intended towards me. This is fraudulent and I guarantee that if a buyer went in to inquire about the car and ask if there is anything wrong they will say that it was inspected by their mechanic and meets all safety requirements.

  Why if a 160 point inspection was done on a CX-5 and a certified mechanic passed car has one tire different from other three? This is a no no and a picture is taken of mechanic who passed vehicle! What's the deal?

  Amazing experience with the Sales department. Made purchasing a vehicle very easy. We completed everything and I never had to go in, they delivered it to my home! Would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a vehicle!
