Chase is horrifically bad. I closed my account over a month ago. Of course I still have not received the check for my remaining balance. But the best evample that exemplifies their ineptness: Just received a letter from the corporate office notifying me they could not open the account I requested!???? And when I tried to call the corporate number the system demanded an account number (which I obviously don't have any longer). So I hung up, called my local branch and guess what? Got a recording telling me they were busy and to call the corporate number. What a ******* joke. DO NOT go to this bank. You would get better service just hiding your money in a mattress like people did 100 years ago .

Ive never felt the need to report an entity to BBB because i always believe a business should not be impacted by lack of costumer service of one employee . However in this instance it was 3 including a member of management in the frauds department . To make my situation simple . At least 5 times my bank acct/ debit info has been jeopardized .On Saturday 04/13/24 I had 1 unauthorized transaction and 2 atm transactions . I called filed claim. Chase Handled the situation by filing claim and cancelling my card and issuing me a new one via **** (not yet received) As of 04/16 I called again due to a different transaction reflecting on my acct . Called back today due to pending ach transactions. Today I spoke with a supervisor. The supervisors name is ********* . ********************** unable to provide extension (for internal purposes only and unable to provide to consumer ) unable to provide last name , employee ID info could only provide her name . ********* was unprofessional, lacked consumer empathy , would deep sigh on the call , laugh , had unprofessional back ground noise and couldnt understand that part of her job description was to deal with escalations . She was unapologetic and numerous reminded her what consumer customer service is and what it shouldnt be as she was an example of poor management . She claimed the new card that has not been delivered nor activated being the reason for fraud transaction. How does a card that isnt even active yet have access to ones bank . It was clear by bank acct number being jeopardized but she had to be right and denied it being true . Till now the acct has not been frozen I cancelled the yet not delivered card and seek to file a subpoena for the call recording and anything Else available to file a complaint with the **** as well and make sure this isnt something in their culture because anything fraudulent is stressful enough . This is unacceptable behavior and abuse of power by a member of management .

I had a fraudulent charge on my chase credit card. On any other card you just log in to the account and click a few buttons to submit the claim. Not with chase. First just logging in takes 10 minutes an multiple electronic devices. No use clicking the "remember me" button, that never works. When I finally get in I click through a few buttons to report the fraudulent charge, only to be directed to call a ***** number. So I call this number and work through their phone tree that was created by ***** himself. Finally I get through to the lady at the Indian sweatshop. This starts a whole other background investigation to prove my identity. She asks me to log in to the mobile app, I'm literally on the freaking phone with you right now, just ask me something. Finally after I get through all of this, she tells me she has submitted the charge as fraud. With any other bank I could've hit that button myself when I was logged in 20 minutes ago. Chase, it's the 21st century, start acting like it.

Horrible experience. Since August of last year, I have been trying to get *****************, Merchant Account, to fix their mistake. They put an incorrect EIN Number on my business account, to fix it they asked me to send them the **9 form. This year I received 2 **9s, from January to August with the incorrect tax ID number and another September-December with the correct number. I have spoken to many people, and they always ask me for the same form, they have given me case numbers and so far, they have not solved the problem. For this reason, I will have to request an extension to file my taxes. Oh, I forgot to mention that the *** has withheld almost half a million dollars from my account because of this error. Now, the ***************** complaints department has me on hold for 1 hour and 21 minutes, and still, no one answers.

Chase kept charging me monthly fees after I proved to them that I am exempt from such fees. We have gone back and forth multiple times, their customer service responses were less than acceptable. I just withdrew $100,000 from Chase and they apparently don't care.

So from nowhere, Chase decided to end 18 years of relationship with them and close my personal checking account and all my personal and business credit cards with them (9 in total). All this is just weird and here are some reasons:1- they closed everything except my 10-year business checking account.2- they approved me for ***** Business at the beginning of the year. I just finished the normal and extra spending on it. How? Legit business expenses.3- never miss any payment and pay everything fully. So of course no reason in the letter, from a banker on the branch, or a supervisor on the phone. I was trying to think about the reason behind that and the only thing that comes to my mind is getting a lot and large ***** transactions to my business account. Those are actual business transactions. But they didn't close the business account ???????I just want to share this with you guys and let you know. It seems to be a lot of people were targeted by Chase and they are closing a lot of accounts from what I just searched lately.

I had a wire sent to my account twice and it was kicked back twice. For reasons they couldn't locate. I then decided to manually deposit the check and they was a hold on it for more than a week. 9 days to be exact. Again for reasons they couldn't tell me. The customer service man was rude and said if I feel I need to take my money out and go with another bank then do so. I can't rely on a bank to do what a bank does then why bank with them. I will be taking the customer service guys advice and bank with sometime else once my checks clear.

Chase Business Checking mess -- caused by "back office mistake".
Just spent two hours on the line with 5 different chase representatives.
They've explained to me that they accidentally closed my business checking account and the payment I have been waiting 3 months for has been returned.
Now not only do I appear incompetent in asking the client to reissue the payment, but ive wasted my entire day and stressed out over this situation. On top of that, I made overdue payments to ******** ******* [and others] that are now all being returned as "insufficient funds". This has locked my ******** ******* account and caused a domino effect of other payments.
I demand resolution -- Chase needs to take ownership for this mistake -- even so, as I grow my business, I may be looking elsewhere.
      ******* * ***** *** ********* ****** ***

Chase banking has been holding my checks for more than a month, I been calling consistently, unfortunately their employees love to waste our time and not solve anything, not to mention how rude the employees are. Currently my account is closed I don’t have access to my personal money and I’m stuck in a whole different state I don’t have access to even feed my two babies because they want to freeze my whole account. They keep telling “the maker of the checks doesn’t have any funds, the phone number provided is not verify, give it 3 days they’ll be ready” ********, My checks can’t be cash no where else because they’re being hold by JPMORGAN CHASE and they have made sure to let branches around to not accept them! I try going to ******* ***** and they said “these type of checks have been flag by the bank where you try to deposit them before”. I obtain a letter saying how the checks never went through, thinking with this other branches will be accepted but No, all thanks to * Chase
