Good evening, I have had sooo many problems with chase and they're racist and discriminating behaviors in contacting the office of the president in talking to maniquisha a so called lead manager was sarcastic in a concern after she Said I Said I didn't want ******* contacting me. I said he can .I forgive him. She then replied with he'll be out of the office all next week and thst he's one of our best researchers in handling complaints. I thsn Said well he never followed up with me from the first problem at this bank especially when one of your employees ******** admitted to being discriminating towards other customers. She's still there and so is **** and that hispanic allied security officer who stares me down with a mug look. These types of behaviors are serious, but they read a script of no tolerance of discriminating behaviors when a branch manager and her staff and the security officer are still there at the northcross branch in ****** *****. They are opening a new branch in the summer and they' need a new staff. And this ****** woman that has access to my account that identified herself as a executive offices chase staff. Lied when she called chase has stolen multiple direct deposits from my account. They'll never touch anymore of ditect deposits again. Thry also tried lying and saying I stole four hundred dollars when it was their ATM. And I filed a claim and had to wait eight weeks to get it back. *** ******* there is room for change. Praying these employees find better jobs. Chase will be a bank.of the past in two years. You can't trust them
They'll chase your money away! God bless you praying for you All ???? ?? ?? thank you bbb

I filed a dispute with Chase on December 19, 2023 after realizing a credit card company had debited $749 from my Chase bank account over a 3 month period. Prior to filing this as unauthorized charges - I contacted the cc company who told me that I had agreed to a settlement with them and agreed to pay the $749 as settlement. This was not true, the cc company had in fact closed my cc in August of 2023 and already reported the closure to the credit union. I did request a copy of this alleged settlement agreement, but they couldn’t provide one. So I contacted chase bank - reported this as unauthorized charges on same day. Chase “ investigated this” and stated they determined these were authorized charges, yet sent me no agreement of my authorizing them. I reported BOTH First bank & trust ( cc ) and Chase to Bbb, Brittany from chase corporate proceeded to leave me a voice mail last Thursday February 9 2024 stating she received a copy of the signed agreement and has closed my complaint.
Well Brittany what you need to do is supply ME with a copy of this agreement as I’ve left 2 messages for you over the past 5 days to do so- and as you know that was the core of my complaints to begin with. Leaving the generic response on this review of “to protect our clients privacy we will reach out to them directly” - that’s your go to on every complaint, and nothing more than protecting your company name which is done so that the Bbb can not properly investigate your handling of poor services to your clients. If Brittany does not supply a copy of this settlement agreement to me - be aware the next step is a lawsuit against you.

I have a balance on my old account with Chase that was closed due to inactivity. I came to the bank to take the balance as soon as I was informed by Bank of America. Rep said they can no longer pull up my account because it's over two years old. She said, it should be in unclaimed property. It is not. Two more bank visits and 100 calls to their customer service number later, I still don't have my $600+. It is a lot of money! They take down my number at the bank but no one has called. I was told to contact JP Morgans main office in NYC but I just get transferred to India's call center where I have to repeat myself again and again and again without no resolution. I had to explain that they can't pull up my account and the only info I have is the last four numbers of the Checking account. They insist on getting my Social Security # each time and now I'm afraid my SS will get compromised. I need help!

I have dealt with the deferral department several times. Everytime whomever I talk to has been rude and then when saying they will put me on hold while they submit something they hang up . This happens everytime . I tried again this morning and the first rep indicated he was going to start submitting paperwork and to hold, after being hung up and waiting for a call back which never happened , it happened again with another rep. The third time I asked the first customer rep you have to go thru once again giving all of my information for the 5rh time now, why I kept being hung up on . Upon looking my file stated in I called back just tell me I was denied. They can't even do this themselves !! I finally asked to talk to a supervisor to ask if it is because I'm self employed. She just said it depends on your answers. I guess you have to have some magical guide to know how to answer exactly the way they want you to . I've just always been honest. First I recommend to NEVER finance with Chase Auto Financing , I will not ever again. I've financed several cars and have always had companies work with me. Just like their main Banking branch , unless you are a big money company they don't give a crap about you. This was definitely proven back when the first round of loans for covid were given . I have a business so just changing banks is not easy nor is changing my auto financing . If you do finan e with them and need a deferment expect rude reps and lie thru your teeth to get approved because apparently that's what it takes!

My experience with Chase Bank was marred by a misinformed representative who incorrectly advised me to skip two mortgage payments during a transitional period. This misinformation led to a situation where I returned from a trip to Europe owing three mortgage payments and facing additional bills. Despite listening to recorded conversations, Chase Bank refused to acknowledge the mistake, showcasing a lack of accountability. Given the frustrating experience, I strongly advise others to exercise caution and consider alternatives to Chase Bank. The lack of acknowledgment for errors raises concerns about their customer service reliability, making it advisable to explore more dependable options to avoid potential issues.

I’m super disappointed that my bank is allowing thieves to take my money. In Dec ‘23, Uber was used to take first, $0.32, then $0.69, then $85.90 and $250. I put the fraud claim and got new bank card and thought everything was fine. Move forward to February and there has been a few of charges of $85.90…. I’m told is the same charge from December that they keep trying to charge. Even with the old bank card number, it goes through. This last one, the people from the fraud department, which are in India, was not very helpful. They make me feel like I’m the one doing the fraud. Out of the $85.90 charge, now I get only $85 back….. yes, $0.90 is nothing, but why are we allowing these people to even get one cent? I’m so frustrated!!!

I understand the security concerns of fraud. I understand that online check fraud is increasing on a daily basis. However, I am a full time student, full time realtor, and full time father and husband. We just had our first kid and I started working in response to that. I received my first paycheck and decided to deposit it online. The next day my accounts were frozen... no notification, no call, nothing. Long story short, I can't pay for school and am about to get kicked out early in the semester, I can't pay for food, I can't pay work license fees, I can't pay car maintenance, the works. Not a problem as I know check fraud is on the rise. I call Chase... can't talk to anyone. I go online, the system doesn't work. I have to make an appointment online to go in person. Not to mention the one person I talked to on the phone got mad at me when I asked her how I can be more prepared to help them verify the checks like she had somewhere to be. Anyways I did it. I went in, they said they couldn't verify the checks I had deposited and I wasn't allowed to provide them with phone numbers so they could verify. They had a "database" of numbers to call but I had the other end waiting for their call and it was never received. In a nutshell, their database had the wrong numbers in it to verify my checks and I couldn't do anything. They told me they would hold my money and in a "long time" is what they said, they would return the checks to the senders and shut down my account. If you took the time to read this, the problem isn't check fraud as I mentioned I understand. The problem is that the bank isn't reliable with customer service. I feel used and abused by this bank and they basically told me I couldn't do anything but wait while they steal my money and return it to the people who owe me. Terrible service, terrible bank.

This is by far the WORST bank I have ever banked with I joined this bank simply for the fact they offered mobile deposit which is an absolute joke in itself. I have been working somewhere that does not offer direct deposit for the past 9 months (I know weird but I still get paid) chase continuously holds my checks 10-15 BUSINESS DAYS because they’re trying to push direct deposit when I have noted that my job does not offer this. I have never had a flag on my account or a check bounce EVER and they keep performing these unnecessary holds. Needless to say after they release my check and I am finally able to pay my bills since my account is now in the negatives because of this hold and I still have bills coming out, I will be taking all my money out of this account and closing it right away. If I could give this bank a -10/10 I would they do all this stuff to avoid giving you YOUR MONEY and then flag all these fees on your account to make you owe them for them holding your money Chase is a true scam and joke of a company.

I received an email (“as a Chase customer, we're pleased to offer up to $700 and easy investing”). Using links in the email and clicking “YES” that I was a customer, I attempted to fill out the application to open a self-directed ROTH IRA. A cash bonus was offered upon funding the account. Numerous times through Feb 1, I was unable to succeed … “It looks like this isn't working right now … please call us at **************”. I spoke to 14 Wealth Management employees, including 2 supervisors, for more than 4 hours over a period of several days. One employee told me he has answered several calls about not being able to open accounts. An employee in YOTS told me he has answered calls over the last several months about not being able to open accounts. I read several secure messages online and responded. As requested, I drove to a branch twice to have an employee in an office resolve your problem. I asked employees to fill out the application over the phone and send me an email or letter via USPS stating I would receive the bonus. Not allowed. Two employees sent tickets somewhere. I asked to speak to someone in the IT department. Not allowed. One guess was that it might be my browser. I closed my browser, downloaded a different browser, opened the email and got the same result. One guess was I might have a delinquent debt. Not only is that false, I have had no debt in 30 years. One guess was to have a branch employee update my KYC. Did. Same result. One guess was to have a branch employee delete my profile (ECI) and create a new one. Did. Same result. I did my own research to find an option. When asked if a customer, I clicked “NO” and filled in personal information form. Same result. I discovered that opening an application at chase.com/investments works, but there is no cash bonus … discovered that I could open an account with an advisor and get a cash bonus, but would have to pay a monthly fee, even if I never contacted an advisor … both good deals for JPMC.
