I opened a Chase Business Checking account in February and thought I was following the requirements needed for their $300 bonus offer. However, when I didnt receive the bonus, I called to inquire. They told me that I didnt meet the exact requirements, which honestly, as someone who worked at a bank for 20-years, if the verbiage listed on the bonus requirements were misleading for me, I dont think they are written or explained fairly. Either way, I accepted the responsibility but asked for an exception to be granted because clearly I was making a sincere effort to meet the requirements (maintained min. balance and completed ACH transfers). When I called back a week later, a representative told me that the request was approved and to expect to receive the bonus in 15-days. Well, 15-days came and went and I never received the bonus. I called back this morning and spoke to three different representatives (and none of them provided a warm handoff when they transferred me, so I had to re-explain my entire situation three times). One of the reps confirmed the note stating that my request was approved and that I was supposed to receive the bonus in 15-days. He even counted the days on the phone and confirmed that the timeline had surpassed without being credited. Then, he transferred me to a supervisor (*****) who reversed course completely - she told me that I didnt met the initial requirements and that the exception approval was a mistake and that she will put a complaint against the agents that told me it was approved. This is absurd and misleading. And its only $300, which is nothing for Chase. I dont understand how it was approved, and then all of a sudden it was not approved. And she was really rude about it and didnt seem to want to help me. Ive already called the ***** OCC, and ************************************* and now Im submitting this BBB complaint.

I was a victim of identity theft, and got 8 emails from Chase Bank in a 20 minute span about a new account, despite not being with Chase Bank. I called Chase's fraud department, and they proceeded to gaslight me, saying I was *not* looking at emails from them. Whenever I tried to read the email out loud, the Chase rep would just shout "NO NO NO NO" over me. I asked for her manager. The manager denied that they had ever emailed me, and asked for my SSN (you do not need a social to find my file). She refused to assist me when I said I wasn't comfortable giving that. I went to a branch office and they found my file in 2 minutes and got to work deleting it. They did not need my social to find it, just my name. The entire fraud department needs fired.

I have been Chase customer for the past 15 years. The incident happened the beginning of this month. I use **** to make payments like other. For this month rent, I pay rent $2200 on June 30. On July 3, there was Zelle payment $1100 to my landload. On July 5, I called Chase and asked to reverse $1100 because its Chases error. They said they will try to get the money back. On July 12 I called chase again and I was talked that the claim was denied as I was the one made the payment using with my FaceID. They said I should change my password.I couldnt believe what they said. I personally check my account with FaceID almost everyday but I dont make a rent payment to my landlord twice. Well what probably happened was that when we make first payment to a new person, there is an alert that you cant send over $2000. So for Junes rent, I paid $1100 on May 31 and June 2 to make up to $2200. And if I remember correctly, I noted that the payment is for rent. And I NEVER turn on Regular monthly payment.I dont trust Chase since then and I am planning to change to another bank. This is not forgiving.

I been with chase few weeks. lucky, I haven't transfer any fund from my bank to chase. I didn't loss much only credit score drop 80 point, a level, and painful headaches anxiety. Called to branch ask if they have safety box, get confirmed. Next day went to branch, NO box, open a checking and savings, *** she did really hard unbelievable inquiry on my credit and it dropped 80 point right after. In few days I closed both account after I experienced and realised chase real s***** bank. In this few weeks, I been contacted them 16 plus times by phone, one visit at local branch. All about they couldn't send message verification code through my iPhone, so I get new number still can't. More than 16 calls for one issue in two weeks, no solve not even has been progress. For what I experienced, chase really has systematic problems which will exhaust you or they intent to keep this way to secure their benefits. The only thing you can get from customer service by phone is you get warm welcome feeling at the beginning but if you question their critical issues their true face reveal, don't bother complain, that only make you feel satisfied mentally. Now I really appreciate my bank (not chase) saving so much problems for me and let me no worries.

Awful. **************** via the customer service number is non existent. Just moved my account over to ******************** less than a month ago, already searching for a different bank. Though Chase wont care, not a high rolling customer. Go somewhere else.

I have been scammed on Cash app multiple times and created disputes with Chase and they have did claim reversal causing my accounts to be in the negative for something I can't control. Why should I have to give the bank money cause of what the next person did even closed out my old cards and got new ones. This bank is not right charging me for cash app scams cause I think I'm paying for services and getting my money took. Have contacted Cash App and they are no help

JPMorgan Chase & Co. do not do their due dilligence. It's amazing that on three occassions their clients claimed that they did not receive a service offered by my business when, in fact, proof was provided that the service was provided and the customer chose not to access it. After the customer filed a dispute ********************, of course, sided with their customer. They are clearly serving people who are frauds and theives of small businesses. It's truly disappointing.

Chase Bank is the worst bank that I ever dealt with. **************** as well as the managers are not helpful and the worst customer service skills I have ever obtain from a Bank. I opened a new checking account with ********************** bank. I deposit a check through mobile deposit. It took them 3 months to release a check for $500.00 from my deceased mothers account. ******************** excuse was the check was fraudulent. I was going out of town to use those funds to help with my travels to ***** my mother. The bank that the check was drawn from, Chase cash the check 2 days later, but the check according to Chase was fraudulent. My deceased mother conservator was also listed on the check appointed by probate court and so you know the check was good. No sympathy. Chase came up with every excuse not to accommodate me for the grief, pain and sorrow that they put me through especially on the day I was burying my mom. I will be filing an additional complaint with the State Attorney office to to further this matter. I just want the public to know what Chase Bank is like. THE WORST.
