    On 3/28, I was booked for a 1:15 pm appointment at sugaring nyc in ********************. I arrived at the place by 1:11 pm and proceeded to open the door and the door was LOCKED. No one was at the door or in the back rooms yet the we are open sign was on the door. I stood outside of the street calling the establishment several times and no one answered! After looking foolish standing outside of a closed establishment, I left at 1:16 pm. I went on sugaring nyc website to chat with an agent, informed them of my complaint and how no one was answering and the agent did not do anything to rectify the situation nor offer to call the place. This was supposed to be my first time at sugaring nyc and this was my first experience with the company as a whole. I am shocked and baffled that this is how sugaring nyc operates. They have the nerve to take a $35 deposit and charge for no call no shows per their policy but they didnt even show up for my appointment! I have never experienced such a poor establishment in my life. Steer clear and will be tik toking about my experience with receipts!

    I received an email for an appt. I emailed back stating I broke out & my doctor told me to discontinue services. I was sent a confirmation email with that I wrote. I also called and spoke with *****. She asked why I no longer wanted services & stated I broke out & my doctor told me to discontinue services. This email has been unsent from my inbox.***** stated for me to continue services & purchase their body wash to use for the break out. I refused and she had an upset tone with me. She stated I was on a membership. I logged into my appt profile and saw a membership was canceled but the manager ******* had signed me up to another membership. ***** stated the manager ******* is the only one who can approve to cancel memberships and I needed to complete a form. I told her ******* said in the past I can cancel anytime by calling. She stated I need to complete the form. I asked her to email it and she stated I have to come in the store. I went to the store and waited a while until serviced 3 clients. Then she called ******* to ask where the form was. The top of the form gives an email option. She took a pic of the completed form & text to ******* laughing at me. They had taken payment for an appt I didnt attend and the form states they will take another payment in 30 days. I refused to sign to agree writing on the form I was never informed of this informed. It gives a message my card cant be removed from their system. I was told my card was stored in their system because they won't service appointments unless a card is stored. The manager ******* has refused to correct this issue. I paid $50 copay to see a *************** medication. ******* is the one that waxed me. She uses so much product the sent remains in underwear and clothing that was trashed. I took the clothing to the doctor and was told they was definitely over use of products if clothing has been washed more than once and the smell is that strong. The healing oil they sold me previously contributed.

    Approximately a week ago I was booked for 2 services and unfortunately received only one of them. When asked the reasoning neither the secretary or the tech ****** was able to give a legitimate/logical response. The the staff at the sugaring company have a history of being unprofessional, nasty, and rude. I've tried to give them many chances despite feeling discriminated and treated unfairly.
