BBB files indicate a Pattern of Complaints for the billing and collection practices of LocalEco Pages. Representatives from small businesses or organizations are telling BBB about their interactions with this company. Many complainants allegedly receive a number of calls from LocalEco Pages about payment for an invoice. The amount due for these invoices reportedly ranges from about $800 - $1000. Complainants claim that they are pressured by LocalEco Pages representatives to pay the invoice right away and are sometimes offered a discount for immediate payment. Others say they inform the company that the charges on the invoice were not authorized. Those who request verification of authorization for the invoiced services are reportedly told by LocalEco Pages that there are verbal contracts/vocal recordings indicating consent for the services. A few customer reviews submitted by businesses to BBB about LocalEco pages allege they were threatened with having the invoice turned over to a collection agency if the business refuses to pay.
