      I contacted Hello Fresh on the morning of 7/29/22 to cancel my upcoming delivery (due to arrive on 8/2/22). The customer service representative stated that the order could not be canceled or refunded because I did not cancel before midnight on 7/28/22 and a label had already been made. I explained that my refrigerator broke the morning of 7/29/22 and I would not be able to refrigerate the order and that I did not cancel the order the night before because the refrigerator was working at that time. Although the order has not been packed or shipped, the representative stated that it could not be canceled and advised me to give it away to a friend or family member.

      This company scammed me. They charged me after my subscription was cancelled, then told me they could only refund half of it. I reluctantly agreed to take the $48 when I was charged $96. So I waited. And waited. Nothing ever came. I waited the 10 business days and called back. I was told to wait more and that it was “being processed”. I waited 10 more and called again. I was put on hold for almost half an hour. The person told me it was my bank not accepting the refund. I have American Express. It’s not some janky business like Hello Fresh. I told her I will do no such thing and I want my refund. She told me to wait 10 more days. I’m done waiting. I’m filing this complaint in hopes that this company is held responsible for the fraud they’re committing, and I’m contacting Amex to report fraud.

      I have contacted HelloFresh 3 times in the last week as I have been double charged. I have asked them to remove my previous address, and send the box to my new address. Three times I have been told this has been amended. They continue to double charge me. I was able to get one reimbursement of $120. Upon a second charge, I called, once again, for another reimbursement. I was told that they could not do this. I continue to be double charged. I have had to cancel my subscription 2 times in the last 3 days.
