03/04/2025 I went to work, was not feeling well, went home about an hour and a half later. I got home and at some point fell and hit my head causing a concussion and brain bleed. Voya is saying my accident happened at work, my Personal Health Insurer has already paid the hospital bill because it happened at my home. I have repeatedly told Voya this but they insist that it happened at my job so they denied my accident claim. I was told to fax them my ambulance report which shows the location of pick up as my home. I have viewed doctors notes and no where can I find that the doctors are saying this accident happened at my work. It does note that they had to get me out of my bed since I could not get out of my bed. I just want the company to honor the claim that was filed in good faith. The person who did not really read everything owes me an apology as well. I have so many documents regarding my accident.Business Response

I have a retirement plan administered by ****, as a former city employee (******). Last year, I moved to ************** employment and have been trying to withdraw my money and send it to the New York State retirement plan. As per Voyas numerous hurdles for withdrawals, I filled out the forms completely, had them notarized, and mailed them in. However, Voya rejected the withdrawal and is holding onto my funds because one of the times I spelled my name appeared illegible. This is a pretextual reason to withhold my funds and continue to charge onerous fees that eat up my retirement savings. A Voya representative even joked that I better take out the money before June because their June fee would eat up my remaining Traditional *** balance with them. Voya thinks its funny to act like gangsters, unlawfully withhold our hard earned money, and eat up this money with fees on accounts we have been trying to move from them for months now.Business Response

I was on medical leave from my job. I paid my health care to Voya Financial for month of February.(551.32) I returned to work on Feb 14. I am trying to recover half of month payment on health care(275.52)In my communications, I have received 3 different dates as to when I should receive a paper check.First told check issued on 4/21/2025. Then told check was to be mailed 2 days later on 4/23/2025. I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding ongoing issues with Voya Financial related to the disbursement of my late mothers life insurance policy and 401(k) benefits.Since October 2024, I have repeatedly provided Voya with all required documentation. I am the executor of my mothers estate and have submitted legal documents proving my status. Despite faxing the requested information over 15 timesfrom my home, an attorneys office, and a third-party administrator recommended by the companythe issue remains unresolved.The company continues to withhold life insurance and 401(k) funds that are rightfully owed to my sisters and me. We have spent countless hours on the phone with their representatives, often being transferred repeatedly or left without clear next steps or resolution.This delay has caused unnecessary emotional distress and financial hardship. Voya managing my 401k has been a nightmare. It has been a zero % return on my money from day one over a year now. **** has taken 4 entire business weeks to process my termination requests. I left my last company over a month ago! and **** is still processing the request. They are just scamming people with poor service, its unacceptable. Someone needs to look into them.Business Response

I have been trying to transfer my Voya 401K that was left from an older employer.They told me that i needed a PIN number in order to make any changes and could only mail it to ***** I moved several times since that 401K that was done in 2016 i needed to change my address.They requested a letter including , old address, new address , copy of my new Driver License and my signature.I have sent 4 letters in the past 2 years and I'm still waiting for my new PIN (In order to transfer my 401K to Fidelity) but i have no response from Voya.I called serveral times and i was told by the phone a lot of different excuses and they always asked for a new letter. I received the statement dated 4/4/25 yesterday. According to the statement, there are three options: ***************** ($286,117.24, Large Cap Eqty S&P($112.073.01) and International Eqty Ind($41,451.66). I call Voya Financial this morning. They said that on 4/3/25, I requested my investment options into three. I had never requested my investment into three ways. I always kept the most stable option - Stable Value for 100% since 2019. I retired in 2017, and I had not taken any risky investment.Especially this president who has been raising the tariffs other countries and his policies leads to affect the stock market, there is any reason for me to switch some of my funds into risky options. Voya financial- Cobra initiated for dental ********************** and vision 10.26.2024 via Catholic medical center *** as employer. On Feb 1st *** acquired by ************************ *** and benefits were to continue with ************ (new state). No record via ************ and multiple calls to voya ************ with no resolution despite ticket initiated 3.24, urgent update ticket 3.21 and another call 4.9 and asked to give up to 72 hours for resolution. Did not receive a call--called them last evening requesting a call back but ******* date have paid $411.64 for no service and another bill pending.Would like to cancel, refund for current above and consumer fraud complaint for being charged but no service provided.
