      Very poor life insurance company. We paid into our life insurance with them for 30+ years and now when we are in our late 60's they keep doubling our premiums. We can't afford them anymore and will have to drop our life insurance. Premiums went from $333 every 3 months to $689 every 3 months. We are retired, and now with inflation and the cost of living we cannot afford over $2700 a year for premiums. They should NOT be able to raise rates on your life insurance right when you reach the time in your life when you need it. What a Scam!!!

      Approved for loan on 3.24.23, was told check sent 3.28.24. It's 4.21.23 and I'm still waiting. **************** talked over me, refused to transfer me to supervisor. Was told on or before 4.5.23 I would have check. I have contacted the government agency that oversees investment/401K. Not sure If I should keep waiting for a check or demand ***. The *** could take months. They have put me in a terrible position. Run if you still have the chance.

      I had money transferred from my old retirement plan to this one. I thought it would reach them in time to get set up and it did not. **** was supposed to return the check to the old plan. They cashed the check instead and issued a refund . It has been a month and I still do not have my refund. Every time I call I get a different answer and the customer service team huffs and sighs as if they are upset that I am calling in looking for my money. No one has given a clear answer on where the funds are and when I will receive them. It took me 3 days to get someone to put in a request for an expedited check. They did not tell me that by doing so the stop payment process starts all over again until 3 days after that. This is a nightmare of a company

      Voya claims they've mailed documentation, yet I don't receive it. Or I mail documentation to them, and they supposedly never receive it. Pages of faxed documents are supposedly "cut off". They need to update their entire process and incorporate the option to upload documentation via their website. I truly wish my employer would partner with another organization for our retirement accounts. This place is the worst.

      Everything people are saying is true. This is one of the worst companies Ive ever dealt with. My company uses them for our 401k. In eight years they have never answered a question, called back, fixed a problem, etc. As soon as I retire I am rolling over my 401k. Say a prayer for me they can accomplish that!

      Charged $110 for an outgoing 401k rollover to another brokerage. Really poor form considering the vast majority of 401k providers do this for free.

      My employer switched to Voya in 2023. I have been on restricted hours due to a heart condition. I received a letter at the end of Dec. from Voya that I didn't need to do *************** would contact my doctor if they needed more info and my restriction date w/the other company expired on Jan 11. I called Voya on Jan. 3 to follow up & was told someone would call me in 48 hrs. No one did. I called again & was told the same thing. I called again on Jan. 10 & asked for an extension number to speak with someone & was given the name **************** *******. I called & left a voice mail. No one returned my call. I sent 3 emails. No response. I called **** several times for a week & kept leaving voice mails. Nothing. I called the main number & asked if there was someone else I could speak to & was told no, the only person in the entire company that could help me was ********** seemed to be **** I called a few days later & asked to speak to a manager & was told one would call me. I was stunned when a received a call the next day. *******, the manager, said more info from my doctor was needed. I had to, for the third time, give my doctor's name & fax number to her. On Jan.27 I received a letter & forms in the mail that my doctor needed to fill out & that **** had to receive them by Feb 2. This letter was dated Jan. 18. It took 6 days to get to me by mail when **** could have faxed the forms to my doctor in 6 seconds as they did before. I still haven't heard anything else from Voya & am still trying to reach someone. This company is a joke. If I could give them zero stars I would.

      Terrible company, they continually tell you that another department handles whatever policy you are calling about. Then they send you to a scam service that sells some type of "life alert" button that claims to know nothing about Voya or their policies. Terrible customer service, and as far as I can tell are not able to assist with any questions regarding my individual life insurance policy.

      I filed a Short Term Disability claim . I am getting no response from them it remains pending. All forms they needed were sent quickly , they are saying they don't have them . Faxed is the only way they accept from doctor. It appears the reviews I have read are true . A company that makes it hard to receive benefits. ********************** .

      Horrible customer service! They email us thanks for submitting health reimbursements for retirees yet when we call they cant find anything. Never reimburse us. We cant understand anyone and they cant understand anything. Horrible horrible horrible! Fire them all!
