      I strongly advise caution when considering supplemental insurance, particularly with Voya. I submitted an accident claim for my son on October 16, 2024, following a severe football injury in which he fractured his femur and required major surgery. Despite the pain and hardship hes endured, Voyas claims process has added unnecessary frustration.After completing Voyas accident form on their online portal, I uploaded 45 supporting documents, including chart notes, hospital admission records, and X-raysexceeding the documentation requested. However, the online portal showed no updates over the next 10 business days. When I called on the 10th day, a representative informed me that additional information was needed, and a letter would be sent. I asked her to clarify the specific information required, and she claimed they had not received the online accident form. I resubmitted the form on October 29, the same day as this call. Its crazy because to start a claim online you must fill out said accident form online but they are claiming sometimes the information doesnt transfer over. After another 10 business days without an update, I called again on November 12. This time, I was told Id need to wait until the end of the day because the claim was still under review due to that same missing documentwhich I had already resubmitted 10 days prior. This stalling tactic seems aimed at prolonging the process and avoiding payout Day 11 of the 2nd submittal and still no update on the online portal. Currently on hold again wasting more of my time because they will not do their job. This is the most fraudulent company *** ever had to deal with. According to online reviews everyone is having the same issue. They refuse to pay out legitimate claims you have to argue with them and threaten lawyers before they do what they are suppose to. They delay and hinder the claims process when you need them most, though they are diligent about taking payroll deductions.

      Im just curious has anyone ever actually successfully gotten a dime out of this company? Like have you actually gotten a direct deposit when you were told you would be getting it? I have been waiting for my direct deposit and it is not here and I usually get my deposits the following day and they keep telling me that it will come in 2-3 days. This company has ruined my whole life. I dont even know what to do.

      One star is too high! I am very frustrated by ************* I recently did a direct rollover. Here are the things Voya staff did wrong:When my financial advisor did the direct rollover, the ****** on the phone said my email "wouldn't take" so I couldn't get updates even though they already have my email address and sent me a code via my email address. The website said "it's processed and on the way. You should receive by *** date." I was told differently when I called to get the tracking number, which they did not yet have.Staff misinformed me of the shipping method. I was told my check would be delivered via US postal service, but it is actually sent **** Therefore, I thought it would be safely sitting in my locked mailbox instead of sitting on my front doorstep while I was out of town.I was given three different shipping timeframes from three different people. I paid $50 for expedited mail because I was leaving town and didn't want a large check sitting on my front doorstep. I was told it would arrive within 3 days. The second ****** told me it would arrive within 3-5 days. The third ****** told me (after I did the rollover) it would take three days to process the check, and it would then take 3-5 days to reach me. They misspelled the first letter in the investment company's name on the check. All other information was correct so I am hoping it goes through.The first ****** sounded like she just woke up. The second ****** was nice but didn't spell the investor name correctly and misinformed me of shipping details. The third ****** was nice but had loud noises in the ************* one cared about my transaction. Voya made this experience very stressful. The whole experience was unprofessional, and I couldn't be happier to be leaving Voya.

      Awful customer service. I was not able to change my phone number with them. They verified my SS, my Date of Birth, and a 2 factor authentication to my email address. They said they needed my account number to change my phone number. I told them I only have one account and I can't get online to see my account because they verify through phone number, the reason I was calling was to let me know my phone number had changed.I waited for 45 minutes to talk to a supervisor only to be told the same thing.I had my advisor take my money out. I pay their high fees for a reason and being treated like that isn't one of them.

      Voya claims on there voice mail to be the most ethical company in the world. My experience has been unethical and unhelpful.
      I asked if there was a fee to move an account I was told it would only be a 100.00 fee so no big deal. When the account was moved i was charged over $12,000. I spent over 3 hours on the phone twice and I was promised many times that a manager would call me back. You guessed it another lie........no one called. If they would call me back and get this handled I would be very happy.

      I never thought I would have to be one of the people to have to make a post about Voya but man the mess up I have been having to deal with is unreal and then when I call to get their mess up fixed I get told it will take another two weeks to see if they can help I see why people get lawyers and why I will have to as well. And I actually used to work there thinking the horror stories where not true but now that I have to call in and deal with it I get it and it *****

      One of their subsidiaries, ****************, has been holding unto cash instead of distributing it.Original plan of life of fund has been exceeded by twice as many years or longer but they seem to want to keep on charging investors ******** they say it will be by end of 2024 but their financial statements have shown $1.7 million in cash for sometime and they refuse to distribute!!

      Impossible to work with. My mom died and it's been an utter nightmare trying to get them to talk to us. I have power of attorney and my dad is completely deaf. I sent them the *** once; they "claimed" they never got it even though I emailed and faxed it. I sent it to them a second time. They got it this time and authorized my dead mom to speak on my dad's behalf! Even though I was clearly on it. I called again and they claimed they never did this and also never got the *** from me...even though I have a dated letter that says otherwise. Still waiting for them to pay out the policy. It was supposed to help with the funeral, but I've now had to take out a personal loan because of their incompetence. You can tell how much the company cares when they don't even bother apologizing for your lost and try to be a little empathetic. It's a stressful time and Voya has found a way to make it worse.
