I use the "Apple Card" managed by Goldman Sachs. Pulled 2 payments simultaneously from my checking account. When attempting to get one of the duplicate payments reversed, they indicated that they were not able to assist. When disputed, they stated that the duplicate payment was accurate, but were not able to provide any substantiation of their claim. They expected me to take them at their word. When asked to speak with a supervisor, I was simply hung up on. I find it amazing that a company as large as Goldman/Apple believes that when there is an issue, a simple statement indicating "they are right, I am wrong" would be acceptable without any proof. It just further shows the quality of staff organizations like Goldman are hiring. As far as I am concerned, the company is stealing from me and I have no recourse. Not only does Goldman need to provide me a refund of the duplicate payment, but they should be responsible for lost interest, in addition to any fees incurred due to lack of funds in my checking account.

I had RenewalbyAndersen install windows using their 12 month no interest promotion. I sent a check for the full amount ($5510) to Greensky one month prior to the end of the promotion period. They, or their bank, keyed it in as $5500.10 ($9.90 short). Fortunately, I look at my bank account IN DETAIL online every day and noticed that the amount withdrawn from my account was different than the amount of the check I wrote. I went to my bank, discussed the issue, and they contacted Greensky's bank to have the issue resolved. Even after Greensky's bank made a correction, withdrawing the $9.90 difference, Greensky sent me a statement indicating I had not paid in full prior to the end of promotion period with interest charges included. Six weeks later, Greensky has decided my account is paid in full and credited over $1600 in potential accrued interest. My thoughts - Don't use Greensky for anything. Most of us do not check on finance companies used by contractors like RenewalbyAndersen, ReBath, etc., we just read the contract and sign. Check on the finance company! I know I will from now on.I found it interesting that the bank was not an ************** My clue was the listing in my bank statement "..correction los check ####". Seems to me a Goldman Sachs Group, ************ might want to use the American banking system.Speculation, I'm curios, how often does Greensky or their bank "accidently" mis-enter the amount on the check for an amount slightly lower, but eerily resembling the actual amount due prior to the end of the promotion period. Things that make you go....hmmm....

We had our bathroom remodeled in the summer of 2023 by ReBath. They financed our remodel thru GreenSky. Our payments started in December. I mailed them the monthly payment which is due on the 20th of the month for February. So far our check has not cleared. We called them to see what was going on and supposedly they have not received the check. We're going to put a stop on that check and reissue. We have asked about paying the bill thru our banking site. They said they don't accept payments that way. However they did say that we could give them our routing number and account number and they would take our payment out automatically every month. That we will not agree to considering we've already been hacked and lost money from our accounts. Their billing systems need to be fixed so that customers feel confident in paying them. Since no one can seem to rely on the US ************** any longer, we don't have any more options. GreenSky needs to fix the way they do business with customers.

These people are the largest frauds in the industry, akin to modern-day pirates with their loan practices. They impose late fees even when payments are made early or precisely on time, hoping it goes unnoticed. Every month I had to challenge an unwarranted late fee or charge and wait for their "investigation." On one occasion, I simply requested a breakdown of my account, including the interest rate in PDF format, and they placed a hard inquiry on my credit report! When confronted, the representative claimed, "Oh, I misunderstood; I thought you wanted to check your credit for a lower rate." This is, by far, the worst loan company I have ever dealt with in my life. Please beware and take your business elsewhere.

My client said I needed to be a Greensky "approved vendor" so they could proceed with a project on their house. My business went through the application process and was denied. When asked why I was denied and what to do to become approved, no explanation was given since "it would reveal our confidential underwriting process". We have been in business several years, with several employees. This is a scam to get personal information.

They will hold your money for weeks on end with no warning. The 10 day processing period for payments is absolutely false, it WILL take longer. As of writing this review, I am coming up on the 12th consecutive day of waiting on ANYONE to do their job. Upon trying to get things sorted with GS customer service, I learned that they are merely there to turn you away. Nobody I talked to lifted a finger to help me get things sorted, I was just fed the same vague lines that ignored my questions over and over until they finally asked if I wanted to file a formal complaint. If their CUSTOMER SERVICE department isnt willing to listen to me on the simplest issues, then what confidence should I have that a formal complaint will change anything? I have no confidence that typing this very review will amount to any change whatsoever! However I dont think Im only speaking for myself when I say it is borderline theft, and absolutely unacceptable to hold hundreds of dollars from my account for WEEKS once it has left my bank and the payment is complete. I wanna say its no wonder GS is going under and collapsing as a business, but how in the world are they having any trouble when they can just steal more money? Thugs and jerks, the lot of them.

They put a hold on my account when I tried to transfer funds. They can not deal with someone that is calling from a land line. They have to send you a pin number to verify your phone number. There are places in this country that are remote and cell phones do not work. They have to call the ****** *** to verify that ****** *** exist (really????). Since ****** *** is closed on the weekends, I can not transfer my money. Asked how long it would take to get a check and close my accounts at ******* **** days. I have had numerous other issues with Marcus *********************** I will never do business with them again and would recommend that no one else does either. They hold your money hostage.
