I had a consultation via phone to obtain an elective procedure involving liposuction, BBL and Jplasma. I submitted photos of my body including *************** via email. I was approved for the surgery pending blood work. Because of a promotional offer I was highly encouraged to pay in full within a few days before the offer had expired despite not having medical clearance. I decided to do so through a 3rd party lender called Affirm. Procedure was paid in full at $6,600. Within 2 days I did my required blood work and received my results and found that I did not meet Goals's requirement to proceed with the procedure. My GP initially said that I seemed okay to move forward but once the blood work came back she immediately revoked any clearance. We attempted to start me on a treatment to get my hemoglobin up to the required level that Goals requires for their procedures however it was determined that I had a certain type of anemia and oral medications were not helping. I eventually had to start IV transfusions. This went over several ********** still was not getting to the level that Goals would have required to proceed. In the midst of all of this I continued to update them verbally, provide them with updated documents, and discussed receiving a refund. Many times I did not receive a response regarding my request, or I was given the run around saying someone would reach back out or asking to resend documents, etc. Now, over a year later, I have still not received a refund even though I still have never met their medical clearance requirement. My last conversation in March 2025, I was ASSURED that this would be resolved immediately. To date I have not received a refund or response. I even mentioned that I was open to receiving some other type of service that the company offers that I might be cleared to do and receive a partial refund. I was never contacted about that either. I have provided some but not all documents but at least the most necessary.Customer Answer

I had a botched surgery in my early 20's, I am now 37 although I am blessed to not have many complications outside of scarring. I was alarmed by a hard silicone ball in my buttocks. I called several different cosmetic surgey places to see if it can be corrected. Many would tell me no right away. 3 told me yes. 1. was Celestial Plastic and Reconstruction, 2. was HDestetique, and 3 was Goals. I led with the same information all phone calls, I had silicone injections 17 years ago, and I would like to correct the problem. I chose goals because they are very popular, I see them often on social media, they have done a lot of good work. I was told that they could do the job and that the silicone injections would not be an issue. I was also told that I had to pay in full to lock in my day. So I proceeded to do so. I have 2 major surgeries in my life, emergency c-section, and hemorrhoid removal. Neither surgery required me to go in ahead of time and come up with a plan. So when I uploaded my **** photos to goals, after speaking with their booking department, I assumed the would be reviewed and the surgeon would plan out, how he or she would accomplish my goals based on my photos. I received notice for medical clearance and bloodwork. This made me assume everything was still good. After I completed my clearance I went in for my pre op, they didn't ask any questions, they took my blood, weight, gave me prescriptions and assured everything was good for tomorrow. When I arrived the next day. The surgeon looked at my naked body, asks me if I had any previous injections, I said yes it's in my charts silicone shots, She said oh no, I cannot do that. That is dangerous. However I can still do the lipo. I decided not to do just lipo, it would affect me getting it corrected. They said they would charge 2550 for canceling. I have not heard from them since that day March 21. I have wrote emails, and contacted billing, no one has called or emailed me back.Initial Complaint

On 2/21/24, I signed up and paid a $500.00 deposit towards getting a tummy tuck with Dr. ******* by the recommendation of my consultant. Within 48 hours I called back to change surgeons when I found many complaints about his work for safety reasons. I was told I would have to pay a fee to change surgeons which was insane considering I made contact within 72 hours and had not even scheduled a date for services. Also, my deposit is non-refundable which; they don't tell you and don't receive in writing until AFTER the deposit is paid. This is extremely misleading within itself. After months of expressing my frustrations, I spoke with **** on 7/22/24 at 132pm, who offered an exception to use my $500.00 deposit towards other services and I did not trust them at all. Today, 2/21/25, I spoke with **** and asked to use my deposit toward skin services. She is now telling me they will not honor allowing me to use my funds toward other services despite confirming it is recorded that **** provided this option and **** stated I would have to pay full price, I have lost my $500.00 and I cannot use it towards any other service. I asked for a supervisor to call back & was told they would call at their convenience. I asked for CEO details which **** couldn't provide and I found online. I simply want to use my $500 towards another service at this point and they are doing me wrong on so many levels.Customer Answer

I paid $5700 to have a procedure done, I have to reschedule and was told I would loose my initial deposit of $750. I called to reschedule several times, I finally received a call back requesting $500 to replace my initial deposit to get a new date, I was sent a contract requesting the $500 along with an new invoice, I questioned the new invoice, and amount was told "dont worry about it the amount will change". I paid the $500, and received a call from another rep ********* who thought I was a new customer, when I explained that I had a balance transfer, she rescheduled my date and said she would follow up on the transfer payment. I then received another call from her stating that my payment of $500 created a new contract with a new price. I now have a balance of $1200. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told the balance would not change. I was never informed that I was signing a new contract when I paid the cancel fee. I was very misinformed. Im being told now that I have a few days to pay the $1200 or I loose everything.Initial Complaint

I paid Goals Plastic Surgery for my wife to get a tummy procedure. They took the money off the card that she provide before she could get medically cleared. The told her that they just needed a form of payment on fill. When my wife finally got cleared and tried to schedule the splint they said that she had missed her appointment and it would be an additional $500. She calls back a week or so after endless phone calls and they tell my wife that she has missed three appointments and now Goals want $1500 to get the surgery. The thing is, is that we never scheduled an appoint let alone had a date. We've been waiting to hear from them to book our room and our flight. We need help. I was scheduled to have a surgery on 2/14/2024 but unfortunately my surgery was cancelled due to me being epileptic, in other words I was not medically cleared. I was supposed to get a refund, they even sent me a document to my email to sign a refund lease since last month and I have not received the refund yet. Every time I called them they keep giving me the run around. I heard a lot of complaints about them, how they like to steal people money and not provide the services. I dont want to be one of their victims so Im filing a complaint.Customer Answer

2/15/24 I accepted a promotional quote (PQ) for ************* ******* (*****). PQ was emailed with the wrong surgery. Surgical Consultant (SC) said BBL its part of the promotion, just tell them you dont want it. Before acceptance, SC and I had multiple conversations about my medical and geographical concerns, etc. She told me I could only consult with the doctor after accepting the quote, but she would review my details with doc and get back to me. She said my images were approved. I accepted. My surgical date (5/5), consultation (5/1), and 2 post-op dates in MD (I asked for PA) were emailed to me. Addl incorrect info was given by SC., i.e. lab work, medical clearance, pre/post-op, recovery time, documents timeframe, BMI requirements (which I do not meet guidelines for services paid for), etc. Goals were not responsive to msg and did not call 2/24 at 1:45 pm for appt. I emailed my assigned surgeon, ****************, 2/25, with these concerns; next day he responded, My apologies for any difficulties you are experiencing during this process, I have escalated to the corporate manager to address. FYI, the virtual appointment that you have scheduled is with the Corporate Pre-op department. I thought we were scheduled to meet. Got a voice msg from Uma on 2/26, I havent been able to reach him. 5/1 my PCP did not clear me for surgery due to my complex medical history and acute symptoms presented with. 5/5, **** in the pre-op **** said now I need my oncologist to complete the form, suggesting that they would ignore the clearance from my PCP if the oncologist cleared me for surgery. This is preposterous. I told **** that my oncologist advised me to go to my PCP beforehand. She told me to see another oncologist. I asked multiple times to escalate this issue. Eventually, she said her supervisor will call me back. No call. Coupled with these issues and Goal's attempt to force surgery, I wasn't medically cleared for or lose $5200. May you please help me?Business Response
