  As any initial patient does, I provided documentation and forms about myself prior to even the first appointment. The first appointment was so long and drawn out that they had to have it continue into a second appointment. It was during the second appointment where I was asked about my medicinal marijuana card and I confirmed that I have one. The "Talkiatrist" then told me that they can't work with me because I have a medicinal marijuana card. They of course didn't notice this information prior to the first or second appointment in my forms so they either didn't bother doing their job and reading my intake forms or gladly and willingly ignored the fact that I had stated which would eliminate me as a candidate. They then sent me a $700 bill for two sessions and included an Additional supportive therapy fee stating they provided "additional medical services ... like supportive psychotherapy, psychoeducation, or Cognitive Behavioral Therapy." None of which was actually administered. Wouldnt one suppose those are the basic medical services for a place called Talkiatry rather than the additional medical services? This place does not care about patients, they are not considerate, and they are focused on taking as much of your money as possible.

  I went to use talkiatry. Before I met with a person I explained that I have Bi polar 1 but ***************************************************************** present I said yes then the DR. **** unfortunately we don't per order of talkiatry help people with bi polar 1 and or substance abuse problems past or present. Idk why when I had already stated before the initial meet that I had bi polar 1 would you take me and charge me almost $800 just to say sorry I can't help you per order of talkiatry rule because you have both bi polar 1 and also be a use you had a substance use in the past. *************** almost $800 for no help at all what a rip off

  I scheduled a last-minute appointment online today and quickly received an email to fill out an intake assessment. It asked some standard questions including if I had any history of a list of given issues. I selected that I had a history of disordered eating and my appointment was immediately canceled as my provider "didn't treat my condition." I wasn't seeing a psychiatrist for my eating disorder; I was seeing her for my ADHD which she does treat. This is a horrible way to do this process. My appointment was canceled about 5 minutes before the scheduled time (I had already left work to do the visit at home). I imagine there have been several people like me who were honest on their form about all issues they have just to be summarily canceled on. And this isn't just inconvenient, it can be the difference for some people in getting an urgent prescription refill on time. Horrible business practice. Whoever decides this was a good idea should be ashamed.

  This site isn't here to help they're here to scam already vulnerable people. I scheduled an appointment because this site was recommended through my work insurance but when i had to cancel it the only thing i could find was an email to cancel through i email 3 full days before my appointment but they didn't get around to reading the cancel email for my first appointment until 1 day before and are now trying to claim I owe the a $100 cancellation fee for canceling within 48 hours when the cancel email was sent 72 hours before. This company seems to be nothing but a money grab, making it impossible to cancel in time or get ahold of support then trying to charge to cancel based on when there support gets around to reading an email.

  I reached out to Talkiatry in search of a psychiatrist. After explaining my needs, they recommended a specific doctor and scheduled an appointment. When I looked up the doctor online, I found nothing but overwhelmingly negative reviewsmultiple platforms rated her one star, with repeated mentions of a poor bedside manner.I contacted Talkiatry and asked to be matched with someone else, even sharing links to the reviews. Instead of supporting the change, they defended the doctor and encouraged me to reconsider. I declined.Its deeply concerning that a mental health facility would ignore consistent negative feedback from other patients. This tells me their doctors are more important than their patients.

  Would leave 0 stars if I could. Prior to the appointment I filled out a questionnaire asking about current or previous mental health diagnoses which I disclosed. I was made to go through an hour long consultation appointment where the psychiatrist made me feel very uncomfortable only to be told that Talkiatry doesnt take patients with my particular diagnosis as remote patients. I then received a bill for half a grand which I plan to appeal. Very *****************

  1st appointment they set me up with was 6am. The provider no showed me. So not only did I wake up at 5:30 am to so a questionnaire online but it turned out to just be for nothing.Second appointment with a new provider none of their tech worked. They emailed me a backup link that was invalid. I spoke with them on the phone and they barely even came through. But I made it very clear THEIR OWN BACK UP link wasn't working. I cant get it and im trying. They said they can reschedule for me later since I cant attend. Just to find out they charged me $100 for now show. So not only did they cost me 6 weeks of finding actual care but now I get to spend even more time fighting them charging me when they were the ones failing to meet terms.NEVER USE THIS SERVICE. IT IS A TOTAL WASTE OF TIME.

  This business is a scam! I couldnt connect with the server to get the help I needed. I was charged for the service I couldnt connect with $100.00. I called right away after trying to connect for a half hour plus, I received a bill and called right away to the main office number abroad to some country, not in the *** and cancelled the service or at least tried to. They said that I owe them ANOTHER $100.00 for cancellation after the 48 hour limit. Its only 46 hours away. Ive only had horrible experiences ever single time Ive ever called them. They refuse to give me the corporate phone number to contact them at their ************* main office. They absolutely refused to tell me what country I was calling. Today is 3/3/25Ill update this post when Im completely satisfied that Im not being charged!!!!

  The didnt tell me how Talkiatry worked. I assumed Id get a call, but I heard from no one. I really needed help. Dont use this service. All they did was get my insurance info and I never heard from them again.

  I wish I saw reviews before starting talkiatry. I had a consult in which I was referred out anyways after my 45 minute appointment. Which they do say can happen when signing up.. but then I get a bill for 400 and 200 for additional supportive therapy I did NOT receive additional therapy. It was a consult of questions and then being referred out and told what the referral is for so being charged for supportive therapy is absolutely wrong!! I left that appointment with nothing just knowing I need to stick it out until I see someone who can help me. Having to answer difficult questions and then being told best to go somewhere else is hard but on top of 600 dollar bill now 400 with insurance ridiculous and to see reviews of same thing and apparently no resolution Im so upset.. these people need help, not a set back talkiatry do better!!
