False expectations regarding TO network:During onboarding, was led to believe *** had an active and meaningful presence in *******. When I communicated to ******, that **, ****** and ***** are my locations of choice, not once did she bring up that Canada would be challenging. On getting connected to ******, she mentioned she was surprised I wasn't aware of the scant network in ******, and that *** is only getting started with marketing efforts here. Misleading upsell to the $7,500 tier:******'s sales pitch for this very premium tier was very convincing - high quality pool, no cap on number of profiles /month. I have received only 2 profiles thus far, and ****** told me this is the cap per month. This is sales team overpromising, and internal misalignment.Delayed, dismissive communication:When I raised these concerns with ******* I received no response for 5 days, until follow up. Eventual reply provided no accountability, solutions, or apology. My sister has been communicating with ****** as well, and she replies at her convenience, bounces b/w group chats and DMs based on I don't know what, provides no real answers. Takes no ownership. Contradiction with public messaging:Website emphasizes the value of in-person meetings, stating: We believe in the magic of in-person encounters... allowing you to meet potential matches face-to-face. This contradicts what I was told post-signingthat I would not meet anyone locally and that nearly all interactions would be virtual. If you do believe in what you claim, you should 1. connect me to people in ** instead of informing me that there are virtually no profiles here 2. inform this before payment, and take ownership of marketing jargon on your website that doesn't mean much Note to CEO:*** claims to be elitedifferent from the rest, none of that has held true in my experience. I paid $$$ for a service I believed in, and yet, not once was a direct conversation with you made possible despite multiple attempts

    Business Response

Dear BBB & To Whom It May Concern

    We respectfully disagree with the
allegations made against Vows for Eternity, Inc. (VFE) in this complaint and would like to
provide the facts below to clarify the situation.

The client enrolled in our Pyramid
membership tier in April 2025, only after being presented on February 27, 2025 with
a clear comparison between our Element and Pyramid Package. At every stage during the
onboarding process, the client was fully informed of the scope, timelines, and
terms of engagement, including our strict no-refund policy, which was clearly
outlined in the Pyramid membership recap document (attached).

VFE operates as a retained search firm
that provides a curated, relationship-focused service for individuals seeking a
life partner for marriage. As is standard across our retained search industry, matchmaking services
are provided on a best-efforts basis and are not contingent on volume
guarantees or outcomes. These terms were agreed to prior to the
start of the engagement and accepted in writing by the client during onboarding.

    The client signed an annual
contract for the Pyramid membership tier valid from April 2025 until March
2026, with full disclosure and acceptance of the deliverables. A request for
early termination and a full refund after only three months is not aligned with
the contractually agreed terms and would constitute a breach of contract on
    part of the client.

We stand by the integrity of our
process and due to our strong commitment to client confidentiality, we will refrain
from disclosing private details of the communications with our client. However,
should she choose to resume her search with us, we will remain committed to
continuing her membership in good faith.

    Sincerely,

    Team VFE
    Vows For Eternity Inc.
