I was so excited in the beginning and I Spent $2000 up front. After receiving my retainers, I noticed that they were cracking. The plastic pieces did not fit properly or securely after the 1st set. Every new set I put on began to crack in places in order to fit. I was told that it was normal when I called to inquire about it. Then after a few weeks, I started noticing my teeth were chipping off at the ends and it would fall out in the retainers. I sent emails to candid and even spoke to a lady on the phone but she shamed me, and told me that my situation was unheard of. She said I must have been doing it wrong because no one else has ever complained. She went on to upcharge me $99 each for every retainers that cracked, and told me I needed to start over. After going to an orthodontist, he suggested I stopped using them that it appeared as though I was suffocating my teeth as to the reason they were chipping and that it wasnt healthy to force the retainers to fit especially if they were cracking. I asked Candid for a refund, and I have never heard from them again. I felt hopeless, I felt shamed, and I felt scammed. I even made great ****** reviews for them initially because I was excited and believed they would work and allowed them to have access to the ******* views my account of ****** receives. It is unprofessional and disrespectful to call me someone else's name, especially a females name. I don't appreciate automated general responses that are copy and pasted. They aren't "Candid." They are Crooked. I started with Candid in 2022. It should have taken one set of 10 aligners to straighten my teeth. However, the first course left my bottom row of teeth crowded still as the aligners did not fit properly. I received a refinement. After another 5 months, my bottom teeth are still crooked. I requested another refinement in March 2023. unfortunately, it took several weeks to receive my impression kit (which was missing supplies) and I became ill with COVID for a month. I could not take my impressions and send them before the 60 day limit due to my illness, quarantine, and the late arrival of the kit in the first place. I have asked for an extension, but the company is unrelenting. They do not care about customer satisfaction or health. Once you pay, they will ignore you. I wonder why my orthodontist never noted that my teeth weren't moving according to the digital rendering. Shouldn't a healthcare professional notice these issues and provide recommendations? How could I have 2 courses of aligners and still have crooked teeth? Why don't I get to speak to my orthodontist? It seems as if they give fake responses and don't even have real doctors behind it. I paid for a service with a "satisfaction guarantee," but that really isn't true. Candid is misleading and takes advantage of customers who cannot afford most orthodontia. Their customer service team simply does not care. The one thing this company is not is Candid.Candid

Horrible. I should be able to contact the orthodontist who prepared my impressions. Since I paid out of pocket $2400 of my money. I should have still been able to get a renew kit in which I did not because I didn't keep in contact with candid after I was evicted from my home. I was not aware that they would put a pause ony account after they had already closed my account to be able to continue services with them. If there is no address to send my new impressions kit what sense did it make to continue contacting candid while I was experiencing homelessness. It has been a year but I should still be able to get some type of assistance or some of my money back since during treatment my mouth was being cut up and after treatment the results weren't as great as they should have been. You can't even really see the left side of my teeth but the right is very visible.Candid

Loved this company until about the last year or two. Most recently Ive been trying to get a new retainer. I placed my order online and saw the charge go through, I havent received a confirmation/shipping email in years but have always received my retainers on time. I reached out to them about three weeks later for an update and it took 3 people to tell me the first order never actually went through even though I was charged and the second person put a new order through. 4 weeks later I reach out again for a tracking number, come to find out, after the 3rd person I talked to, they shipped and delivered to to CA, Im in ** and people have confirmed my shipping address about 4 times by this point. All they say is they understand Im frustrated and beyond upset and offer a free set of retainers. But we are past that being ok now. I purchased them with plenty of time to have them before a wedding that Im in and now I will not have them for another 3-5 weeks if Im lucky.Candid

I cant believe how horribly I was treated and the treatment I received. I never wanted to be writing this review. I purchased aligners from this company and upon recovering them they did not fit my teeth properly. I contacted them about this issue and was told that I should trim the top of the aligners. Did that nothing changed. I asked for a refund since the aligners did not fit my teeth. They said they are not able to issue a refund. I asked if they could redo the treatment and they said they are not able to and my account is closed. Providing me with absolutely no resolution. They literally took my money and then didnt help me at all. I cant urge you enough DO NOT DO THIS! Go to your local orthodontist. It will be a way better experience and the treatment will actually work. Now for me I will continue to try and get my refund through small claims court.Candid

I completed my round of trays back in October. I was told my process was not completed and i would need to extend. I agreed and was sent back the putty and the trays to complete the molding. I did not complete in time due to personal reasons. I reached back out in March to confirm if this is still valid since i am still paying for this and my bottom teeth are still not straight. I reached via chat and spoke to a rep to ask my questions. The rep ******* to tell me they will no longer due treatment with me and i did not send my molds on time. I then asked if i would need to start a new payment plan to have the treatment restarted and the rep *******ed to tell me, no that they will not restart a plan with me and advise me to seek an orthodontist. I asked to have a manager or supervisor contact me as no one has ever told me i would not be able to complete any treatment if i did not send my molds on time. The rep then starts telling me the supervisor is not available and is going to tell me the same thing they are and there is no need to speaks to them. At this point i am upset and wanted it to be explained to me from a more professional standpoint as this rep is not really being helpful at all. Mind you i am still getting charged monthly for this and the rep gave me a hard time to even get a response back from a supervisor. So far i am highly disappointed with this company. Kinda wishing i chose another aligner company. I feel like i just handed this company my hard working money.Candid

Candid is a horrible company for clear aligners. Too much to write but, I started w them 3/2020 and was glad to finally be done with the process a year later, or so I thought. All I need from them now is my last set of retainers that I paid additional to the 2k already spent. They said it would take a couple weeks to send but it's been over 7 months and they never reach out to tell me what the delay is. I've contacted them multiple times and they lie by telling me they're coming soon. It's been a nightmare dealing with this company. My end result are my teeth are shifting back to where I started 2 years ago with over 2k waisted.Claudia M.

1 starDO NOT TRUST YOUR ORAL HEALTH TO CANDID. I started treatment with Candid in the fall of 2021 and since my initial positive interactions, this company has gone down hill. At this point I'm not sure how they are still in business as they are inept. I'll keep this short so you actually read it. Based on my experience, I can tell you with confidence that there is very little orthodontic oversight. You will NEVER actually speak with an orthodontist no matter the situation. Important clinical information gets lost or misconstrued as it passes from you to the customer service rep to whoever is standing in as "clinician" and back again through the channels. They have not honored the contract I signed to allow for in office scans and forced me to do home impressions which simply DO NOT WORK. I found a dentist who was willing to help me out and do scans for me so I could get retainers. Eight weeks and several chats later, still no retainers. Apparently they are stuck in quality control?! There is so much more to write but so little characters. Please, use an in office company for your treatment!Review fromCorra S

1 starIf I could leave this company 0 stars I would I wore my aligners for almost 2 years and they never got my teeth correct they ended up telling me they would give me a refund and then decided to make me a vendor for their company so they can send me a tax paper at the end of the year for a refund of money I have paid them they are just refunding the money when I said I was uncomfortable signing a paper like that because I dont work for them every time I talked to them they constantly told me that I needed to sign their paperwork to receive a refund. They do not do what they will tell you and they do not care about their customers they want customers to sign a ton of stuff that gives them the easy way out they are making me feel like they want the government to think I work for them which is a lie and I paid taxes of the money I made from work to pay them payments I shouldnt have to make it look like I worked for the money that already belonged to me
