      For 3 months I have parked weekly (on Sat or Sunday) at the **************** garage. for approximately 1/1/2 hours. The usual fee was initially $19.00 then (after 1/1/24) $ *****.On /2/10/24 I was charged an additional $ ***** because I had an oversize car . It is the same 10 year old S 550 that I had parked for previous 3 months.This was indeed a annoying surprise. The garage attendant showed the "large car" charge on a small paper affixed to to the side of cashier window. This was the first time the attendant pointed out the additional charge . This represents DECEPTIVE billing practice and inept business practice. GGMC extracted an extra $***** but they lost my future business ( 50 weeks at $ ***** = $ *******)

      I have been parking in this garage during the entire time I have been getting cancer treatment at MSK. I always get my parking validated. Each time I have come the entire year of 2023, with validation my costs is $26. Today I was charged ***** before validation then the amount became $41. I immediately asked *** what the difference was. He then tried to tell me my vehicle was oversized. I did not get a new car since my last doctor visit which was 12/27/23. I have my receipts. He then also tried to tell me that if my car did not fit between the two painted lines on the floor is was oversized. I had my husband back my car into the space on the floor with the marks, it fits exactly. *** also bet me $20 it wouldnt. He was wrong. So based on that criteria alone I was being overcharged. But even if my car didnt fit exactly in the marks, I want to make clear your company is harassing and taking advantage of cancer patients. I walk down the street in the cold to save the money. Most cancer patients cannot work and we need every ***** of the little money or in my case disability payments that I have. We calculate budgets and cost like the anticipated $26 parking. I even have a flyer from MSK that refers patients to park here and they will be charged $26. We are fighting for our lives we dont need to be fighting over parking prices! This occurred today at the parking garage at ***************************************** This is despicable!!! I was outraged today. ******* said that the price is determined by a camera system. If thats true, why is this the first time I was charged this rate? This is so wrong! So either I am being over charged today or improperly validated. The point being, I have never been charged this rate.
