    if i could leave 0 stars i would.what a terrible experience.I ordered a plant and pot on March 18th.I received an email that my entire order was delivered on March 27th.The pot was delivered, but no plant.After reaching out repeatedly I was told "oh.... plant was shipped separately - here is tracking"But tracking showed it was not shipped. a Label was created as i was speaking to customer service.I continued to track that tracking number when it finally showed movement March 29th and would be delivered the 30th.When it didn't show up but was stuck in another state - and i reached back out to the sill they said "keep watching the tracking number.. it will move eventually."

    I bought 3 plants from The Sill's store on the *************** during the pandemic in 2020. They were in beautiful pots and were extremely healthy. Those plants are still alive 4 years later, survived my transplanting them into bigger pots and look just as beautiful as ever. Note: I am the world's worst plant caretaker ever. I wrote to them last year to ask for some advice and received very helpful advice as well.

    Upon hearing glowing reviews of The Sill, my wife and I decided to purchase two 6-month easy care subscriptions for our new home. However, we've experienced significant issues since then. Delivery was problematic with only one package arriving initially and miscommunication about both being delivered. Despite repeated communication and assurances, it took a direct email to the *** to get a refund for the undelivered subscription. Yet a week after the refund confirmation, no refund appeared in my account, another error on their end.Additionally, we encountered quality issues with the plants. Despite our experience in plant care, two plants from The Sill developed serious health issues. Our baby peperomia had stem rot leading to its death within 60 days. Even after immediate repotting and root sanitization, the corn stalk plant we received is not faring well. The plants arrived with ****** damp soil and unpleasant odour, indicating potential issues with their shipping or storage methods. This series of issues has led me to question future purchases from The Sill once our subscription ends. It seems they need to address certain quality and customer service aspects.

    I ordered a large fiddle leaf tree (order *******) which arrived severely damaged in multiple places (holes and tears through leaves, broken leaves, many dead and brown leaves) and TEN inches shorter than the minimum height promised on their website for the size tree ordered. The tree also appears to be infected with fungus gnats. I emailed customer service on the day the plant was received, included multiple photos, and heard no response. I followed up again after a week of hearing nothing back, with additional photos. Again, no response. I then tried to contact them through their customer service chat, which they claim is staffed daily, but it's not, no one manages the chat, so once again, no response. I am now out a lot of money for a tree that is not only severely damaged and dying, but not even close to the size tree I ordered and paid for. I am so disappointed with the way this tree arrived but MORE disappointed with the complete lack of customer service. I haven't experienced such poor/non-existent customer service elsewhere and recommend that others stay far away from this company and buy their plants elsewhere.

    It looks like our customer experience team did their best to resolve this issue as quickly as possible. A replacement was sent to the customer on 4/19. The case was resolved.

    Plant arrived totally damaged and unusable. I never would have paid $60 for a mostly dead smashed plant. Absolutely ridiculous. They don't have any phone customer service, and they don't have live chat on their website - despite all their marketing - it's just a simple email form. It should be against the law to have absolutely no customer department beyond snail email. Will update my review if they actually make it right.
