      Readers Digest sent two bills to me after I paid for my subscriptions. The bill stated in words Your gift subscriptions will soon expire. Delivery status will change and your friends will no longer receive future issues. To avoid this interruption complete this form today. When I called I was told that it was an advertisement and not a bill. I told them that I felt it was a scam on the elderly who would not remember that they had already paid the bill and keep repaying it when these so-called advertisements were sent, I was told that the majority of readers preferred these reminders even after they paid the bill so I will no longer deal with a company that is so clearly is trying to scam customers. This happened last year to only they tried to tell me that I never did pay them and I had to show them proof that I paid it and then the reaction was well. We guess well go ahead and send them as a favor, I dont know who is running this company, but I would avoid avoid avoid.

Her payment was included with order. The subscription for ******************************* is paid through the June **** issue. Her gift subscription to Ms. *********************** is paid through the March/April **** issue and her gift subscription to *************************** is paid through the December/January **** issue. We apologize that an additional renewal offer crossed in the mail after her order was processed. ******************************* should disregard the renewal offer that crossed in the mail.

      Bad accounting and purchase webpage. I purchased a discounted year subscription for $7. The button link to submit subscription did not have any indication of submission. I repeated touch. Did not realize it engaged so many times. I now have billed $35 for a $7 purchase.

      I have received 3 books from Readers Digest. At no time have I ever ordered any books. I called and told them, she said she would take care of it and I would not receive any more books. Yesterday I received another book. When I called , the telephone was disabled and no longer in service. I am 81 years old and in ill health. I am really upset about this. Just a warning to others. I love the monthly Reader's Digest but this is very disturbing. Thank you **************

We have discontinued the series so no further books in this series will ship. All other active continuity series have been discontinued for this customer. No future books will be mailed without an order being received.

      We found another book account. Another book was received because it crossed in the mail. This book was ship confirmed on September 6, 2023 which was before the complaint was received. We have discontinued the Select Editions book series now, also. Our apologies for the inconvenience caused.

      84 year old mother received an unsolicited book from Trusted Media Brands, Inc. electronically signed by ***********************, ************************** for her "book that she ordered". Mother is infirm and incapable of ordering anything. She has no phone and all affairs are taken care of by family and attorney. invoice for ***** with tax for **** and shipping for ****. Total: *****. I sent an email on her behalf saying "cancel everything" and send RO if they want their book back. Will also file FTC complaint if no contact in next 10 business days. Pretty shady practices.

      My mother is receiving books and billing statements I have tried to cancel this subscription with no success. She does not want these books. I order the magazine for her but I may discontinue that if I don't get this taken care of immediately.Thank you

      Unlike many others, I did order a Readers Digest hard book subscription. I now want to cancel the subscription, guess what, my statement doesn't not give me any instructions or address to do so with. I've gone to several web sites of Readers Digest or Trusted Media Brands *** but find no location to click on to cancel a subscription. Many sites to subscribe though. I've found an address from two years ago that I had saved to cancel subscriptions and have used it. Remains to be seen if it will recognize my request.

      What a shame. Reader's Digest used to be a well respected publication that millions of Americans read, but upon selling the publication, it seems Trusted Media Brands now owns it and is running a scam, sending out notices and bills for unasked for, and unwanted books and magazine.It seems they prey on elderly persons, figuring that if only a few out of hundreds billed, will pay the bill without question.I've contacted my state Attorney General and BBB regarding this shameful practice.

      Any company that refuses to cancel your subscription and automatically renews it is a scam company as far as I am concerned. I suppose that is the only some companies know how to do business. Once Readers Digest was a respected publisher but no more. They had the gall to send me a postcard saying they could not process my closed credit card but would be sending me an invoice anyway. What a bunch of crooks.

      My mother is another elderly victim of this scam. She did not / would not order any books, not how she does things. We will not be paying this invoice for $69.06 nor will we be returning the book. And I do hope that Trusted Media is going to not have a response to this as the others below stating: "I would like to provide some information and clear up any misunderstanding". There is ABSOLUTELY no Misunderstanding!
