This company is pretty good at dancing around the issue, but the truth of the matter is they are scam artists, and nothing less. We just received an unsolicited book, The Best of Reminisce, along with an invoice for $27.86. On the backside of this correspondence, it states Welcome New Book Series Customerfollowed by Thank you for placing your order with us. followed by a bunch of gobbledy-gookexplaining their so-called free preview period. The problem is that no such order was ever placed. How do I know that for sure? That is because the book and invoice were addressed to my sister who passed away in 2017 and has never lived at this address. This letter then clearly states that after your 30 day preview., If you decide you dont want the book you have to take action. You either have to cancel by emailing them or I writing to them with the address they provide. Otherwise, they state, that youll pay the invoice and then they will continue to send you future additions in the same manner! No kidding! What a deal! What a con!! Thank you for the free book Trusted (lol) Media Brands! If you continue to send them, you will continue to receive the same payment. Your others receive this identical, scam offer, simply keep the book and ignore the invoice. You are under no obligation to pay.

Thank you for contacting Trusted Media Brands. I would like to provide some information regarding this customers complaint. On November 11, 2022, we received an order from the customer for a book in the Reminisce book series. As stated in the offer, when ordering this book, the customer would automatically be enrolled to preview other books in the series for a 30-day period with no obligation to buy and the option of canceling membership at any time. We shipped the book on November 17, 2022. On February 21, 2023, we mailed an advance notice advising the customer of the next book in the series to be sent. That book was shipped on April 17, 2023 along with an invoice. We have discontinued the customers enrollment in the series and cancelled any unpaid invoices for this series. The customer *** keep the book and should disregard any further invoices that *** be in process for that book. I hope this helps clear up any misunderstanding. I apologize for any disappointment the customer *** have encountered with our company. Please contact us if we can be of further assistance.

The answer provided was completely untrue and failed to address the fact that the customer they claimed placed the order in November of 2022 died in April of 2017. If your answer is meant to imply that someone, either my wife or myself, who are the only people who live at this address, ordered a book on my dead sisters account, you are dead wrong. Your game is to trick folks into thinking they owe you money through nothing less than slick lies and bogus invoices.

Do not do business with this company. I received a notice that my readers digest was up for renewal. If I did not respond within 30 days, they would renew and build my account. I sent an email saying do not renew, and I received a notice from them telling me they received my email. 30 days later they have filled my bank. I have tried calling them three times and you are put on hold for over 20 minutes and nobody answers. It is impossible to talk to anybody. I have confirmation notice that they received my email and now I cannot get my money back. Horrible company to do business with .

This company appears to be soliciting in an unprofessional manner. They send out information that looks like a bill. We currently subscribe to Reader's Digest and have been routinely getting mail to renew our subscription. We renewed our subscription 11/22 with 2 gifts subscriptions and neither gift subscription has been delivered. In addition, we continue to get mail that looks like our subscription is ending soon. (Actual end date is 2/24). I would be concerned that they are preying on elderly and others to up their profits. This company should be investigated.

Trusted media brands is uses weird wording, urgent messaging, and has no morals or safeguards to protect seniors. My mom and dad have some memory issues and have paid up until **** on one account and **** for another, I have called to cancel the subscription but they KEEP COMING. AND they keep sending unsolicited hard cover books, they are receiving two subscriptions or readers digest, two subscriptions of Birds and Blooms, and Taste of Home. I have called to cancel all communication and will continue to do so because each magazine has another prompt or "special deal". CARNIVOROUS! EVIL! Calling again today to get my parents off their mailing list.

I also have received a book in the mail that I agree I ordered. My mistake was that I didn't read the fine print. BUT I would like to return the book and cancel my so called membership. The problem is I have been unable to locate any instruction on how to do this! I have been trying for 2 hours now on line to locate the **** CLUB for TMB and it's just a big circle!!! I will mail the book back (at my expense) and write CANCEL on the bill. I better never receive another book!

I also, like many people here, received a book without ordering any. I have never ordered a book from anywhere online or in magazines or by mail. I buy my books the old fashioned way - from a physical store. They sent me a bill that I will not be paying. I emailed them to complain about receiving a book I never ordered. This is a SCAM and they should be stopped. They list an address to return the book, but I will not be paying to return something I never ordered. This type of scam is illegal. This is from the Federal Trade Commission's website: "By law, companies cant send unordered merchandise to you, then demand payment. That means you never have to pay for things you get but didnt order. You also dont need to return unordered merchandise. Youre legally entitled to keep it as a free gift." I will be cancelling my magazine subscription to Birds and Blooms because of this as well. It is very disappointing that any business would conduct themselves in this manner.

For several years I enjoyed Birds and Blooms. The last two years I have NOT renewed my subscription. Yesterday I get a book from them with a bill for 34 dollars. The accompanying letter from them stated "Here is the book you ordered." I did NOT ORDER this book. The letter stated that I had 30 days to return it if I did not want it. After that 30 days, I would be expected to pay the 34 dollar price for it. SAY WHAT...really? I do not think so. I will be returning the book with return receipt and a letter notifying them to discontinue this dishonest business practice with me. Yep, that does mean that I will have to pay the post on it's return. I had tried to call the listed number several times with NO luck. SHAME ON YOU TRUSTED MEDIA,INC. I honestly believed you were a better company than this.

I am giving this company a bad review because they sent my elderly loved one a free sample of their Reader's Digest magazine with what looked very much like a bill. I believe that anyone who has memory issues or is easily confused or persuaded would fall for this ploy and send money which they thought they owed. This feels like a shady business practice.

Trusted Media Brands, Inc. is running a scam when they send people (many of whom appear to be seniors) unsolicited hard copy books and bill them for the books. I have been sent two such books, apparently by TMB, and was billed $70.18. I don't owe this money and did not request these books be sent to me. I received the second book today, Jan. 6, 2023, with an attached bill.

On August 12, 2022, we received an order from the customer for a book in the Select Editions book series. We shipped the book on August 19, 2022. The next book in the series was shipped to the customer on November 8, 2022 along with an invoice. The next book in the series was shipped to the customer on December 30, 2022 along with an invoice.
