I paid, when destitute, unemployed, getting evicted, and just hit by an SUV in a near-fatal accident, $15 for an accident report that was never delivered to me, couldn't download, multiple technical support calls, provided all of the information they needed to receive a refund because I had to then get the same report from my local police office, and it's been a week and Lexis Nexis has STILL not refunded my $ after approximately 10 phone calls, tickets open, emails exchanged. I have never in my life waited so long for a mere $15 to be credited me when what I purchased was not delivered. I am on the phone AGAIN w/ a customer service rep 20 minutes now trying to convince me to just download the report now that their site is running again and not receive a refund when I ALREADY PROVIDED PROOF OF OBTAINING MY REPORT FROM LOCAL AUTHORITIES after their system failed.

LexisNexis Risk Solutions **** takes complaints from consumers extremely seriously and we have a robust process in place for resolving such matters, including a Legal review of all responses and handling by our Operations Escalated Response Team.

For Better Business Bureau (BBB) complaints, we continue to use a generic response for posting on the BBB website and a mail a more fulsome response to the consumer.? We have taken this approach to safeguard consumer-specific data; the BBB has confirmed that this is the better approach.

If the consumer does not agree with the BBB website response he or she can then reject the case on the BBB website; however, it keeps the consumers data safe.??

And to reiterate, a separate letter is sent to the consumer with the specific details of the resolution via mail.

Dear Better Business Bureau,I am submitting a formal complaint against LexisNexis regarding an unresolved issue affecting my credit report. On June 16, 2023, I contacted LexisNexis concerning a bankruptcy entry on my report, seeking clarification on their verification methods rather than disputing the entry. Provided my ************** ID and utility bill as address proof. However, LexisNexis responded after the 30-day FCRA timeframe, on July 24, 2023, which exceeded the allotted period by six days. In my follow-up dated August 3, 2023, I contested their claims, backed by courthouse findings contradicting their verification. The courthouse confirmed no interaction with LexisNexis, supported by an official statement.I urged LexisNexis to provide verification within 30 days or delete the bankruptcy entry, substantiating this request with evidence supporting my address and communication with PACER.Their subsequent replies on August 14 and August 23, 2023, reiterated verification through PACER. However, direct contact with PACER confirmed no verification of this item by LexisNexis. Both PACER and the courthouse explicitly denied any communication with LexisNexis, contradicting their claims. In communication on September 18, 2023, I pointed out inconsistencies, particularly regarding my residence. Their data shows ********************************************* contrast to my documented ************** ID and utility bill since June 16, 2023, raising concerns about data accuracy. As of December 7, 2023, no written confirmation from LexisNexis regarding the deletion of the bankruptcy entry. Their non-response violates FCRA, causing distress and hindering my home purchase.Enclosed are documents supporting my claims: ID copies, utility bills, courthouse and PACER communications, **** tracking confirmations, and correspondence.I urgently request the Better Business Bureau's intervention for a resolution. I appreciate your attention to this complaint.Sincerely,***********

LexisNexis is reportedly derogatory information about me and refusing to provide me with a copy of the report to review what they are actually misreporting. Ive followed their prompts and jumped through their hoops twice now and still cant obtain a copy of my report or reach a person as they claim they cant verify my identity (yet they have no issue providing derogatory reports to third parties with less identification)

Lexis Nexis has reported incorrect information about an accident I was involved in on 8/29/2021. The other driver got a ticket for running a red light and hitting me, but Lexis Nexis reported that I was the at fault driver which I'm just finding out was the cause of my insurance increasing by $1000 a year. It is also causing me problems getting new auto insurance. I want my record corrected and also all the money that I was charged due to the error.

      Business Response

      Date: 12/29/2023

Lexisnexis falsely put in their report that I ran a stop sign. My insurance dropped me . Lucky I found some at double the price. I sent them several documents, including police report of the accident. Finally they send me a letter that documents were not legible and they didn't know who I was. They just made it up. How are they still in business? The accident was on 8/30/22 at about 7 AM on county road **** ******* ********

No, I am not satisfied! And will not be satified until the running a stop sign is off my record.  Where did they get their information? It's false. The same thing over and over.  They'll investigate. Send me the same form letter that they need more personal information. But Nothing changes
