There is a comprehensive coverage claim for $1000 dollars from progressive insurance policy #********* that we never used. Progressive never fixed my car. we also called progressive to dispute the claim. they told us that they will cancel the claim although it still shows ** in our history. I am not satisfied with Lexis Nexis response. I sent lexis nexis my problem about my car insurance. They sent me an automated email back saying will take up to two weeks for them to respond. It has been over two weeks with no response via email they also do not answer the phone with the number they provide. This is an issue because the longer they take to answer me the longer i have to pay the amount of money on my insurance due to an accident claim that wasnt our fault or a claim that we followed through with.

For Better Business Bureau (BBB) complaints, we continue to use a generic response for posting on the BBB website and a mail a more fulsome response to the consumer. We have taken this approach to safeguard consumer-specific data; the BBB has confirmed that this is the better approach.

Reached out to me via email and advised for me to send my ID to an email address. I want someone verbally in ***************** to contact me before I do anything. The phone number provided is just a generic phone number for the company and this is just their generic way of responding back to the BBB saying the complaint is resolved. They have not reached out to be verbally to address my concerns nor to discuss disputing the inaccuracy of the reporting information that they are reporting in their files. I am going to get the attorney general in my state invoked if someone in an executive level of lexis Nexis does not contact me. But no, this case is not resolved. I have been in this nightmare with LN for 5 yrs now. 5 yrs ago I requested an insurance quote from a carrier and was told they couldnt accept policy because LN reported to them I had accident. I never lived where LN reported, I never owned car LN reported, I had to file dispute with LN wait over a month for correction. Then this pass summer they reported to a carrier misinformation again about a car *** never owned took over a month to get that cleared. Today I called my life ins company to make a beneficiary change and was told my identity couldnt be confirmed because I couldnt confirm a car and an address that I was supposed to have owned. I am trying to get car insurance and insurance companies are returning crazy high prices or denying my quotes saying I do not qualify due to reports by LexisNexis Risk Solutions. They report I have had 3 accidents on...1/26/22 8/20/19 3/19/2017 Aside from a small fender bender 10 years ago, I've not so much as received a speeding tick, made and insurance claim, or done anything to not have a clean driving record. I've reached out to LexisNexis Risk Solutions to exercise my consumer rights to privacy. LexisNexis did not obtain my consent to furnish my public records. upon recently checking my credit file with LexisNexis I see there is various amounts of wrong information on my file that I'm not understanding why it's on my file. I have disputed these items a few times with LexisNexis, and they still have not removed the incorrect information. This is fraud and identity theft LexisNexis has. two addresses and name also phone number that's not mine attached to my file. The source of where there getting the information from are not in operation anymore ******* solutions. As they have stated the source has identified the information on my file is correct which is impossible, they have actually gone through a dispute process. On March19, 2021, My wife and I witnessed a fatal accident on I-95 North near the ********************. My car was hit by some flying debris (probably tire pieces and other soft parts) but suffered no damage. I stopped my car to check for damage (none found), and render aid and to provide ******* Highway patrol with an eyewitness accounting of what we saw. We were later interviewed by Cpl ******* of FHP and gave him our accounting. In the mean time i was contacted by my insurance company who confirmed I had no damage to my car and was not at fault for the accident; 1. When i changed insurance companies the incident was referenced as an accident I was involved in and was charged a premium because of the accident I witnessed and was not involved in. My new company accepted the attached evidence and removed the accident premium from my policy. 2. When I went to Sell that car, I was told ****** had it listed as being involved in an accident on 3/19/2021 and reduced the value of my trade-in by $1500. 3. I am again shopping for car insurance and have discovered that same incident appears as involved accident and my premium jumped $500+ because of the accident that I was not involved in. They said it will not roll off until **** (4 years @$500 per year)It is because LexisNexxis has inaccurate information in my report that I am incurring these recurring ~$500+ charges from my auto insurers and the trade-in car dealership. I am seeking the correction of my records and documentation of such so I can go back to my insurance carriers and seek reimbursement.Business Response
