      On November 8, 2022, I submitted paperwork to withdrawal the entirety of my 401k. After getting no response, I called (and sat on hold for approximately an hour) for them to tell me that they would not process my paperwork because I signed it electronically. Somebody should have told me this, I should not have had to seek out that information. Nonetheless, I printed the signature page, signed it, and resubmitted the paperwork on November 18, 2022. After emailing and calling multiple times (with the phone calls ending abruptly after anywhere between 10 - 40 minutes on hold), I still have no ************, on December 6, 2022, I am on hold with customer service and my wait time is currently at an hour and 28 minutes.

      Same story as reviews I am reading, beyond concerned at this point! Wait on hold for up to two hours, over and over, to be told nothing! Called my rep and NO call back! Unemployed and now unable to pay bills, mortgage or have a Christmas for my children!

      I am currently on hold for 2 hours and 15 minutes waiting for a specialist to answer so I can have 1 form mailed to my aunt! This is beyond ridiculous. The recording at the beginning informed me where I can locate this form on their website. When I follow the instructions and hit the indicated tab, the form isn't there. I will recommend my aunt transfer her account to an institution closer to home who actually "cares" about customer care.

      I retired 5 yrs ago and every year I draw down a little of my retirement. Never had a problem until this year. **************** has turned into a joke. Asked for forms and never received them. Asked some questions, put back on hold for another hour. Finally 3 weeks ago got forms on internet and that was a chore trying to figure out where to go get them. filled them out and sent them in. Years before the money would be in my checking account within two weeks. f they would have sent the forms the first time I called at the end of October maybe it would be here by now. I'm going to let my ex employer know about this, because they need to know what poor customer service people are receiving , when they retire. I worked accounting for 22yrs and if I would have treated our customers and employees this way, I wouldn't have had a job. It's a shame you had to break something that was working really good and drop your ratings along with.

      I have been trying to speak to someone about a withdrawal. I spent 3 days trying to get a person to no avail. I need these funds to give a final payment on my car no later than12/20. I have been with **** over 20 years and never had any issues. i would call & within 5 days or sooner had the money in my bank account. Just tried to call again & they've locked me out of my account. Since it is the weekend I have to wait until Monday. I also never got a 1st quarter statement!

      Emails never answered & phone calls take almost 2 hours to speak to an agent with no resolution!!! Submitted withdrawal forms over a month and 1/2 ago. Constantly call sending over 2 hours on hold only to be given a different excuse every time. Requested a supervisor call back and never received one. Finally received an email with a letter explaining they couldn't process my withdrawal because they needed my divorce decree. The divorce decree was submitted with the withdrawal form! Now I'm being told that the process starts over for ma and whenever they get the the agent notes that the form was included then they'll process my withdrawal. You would think since they made the error it would be priority for them to fix the error. But instead I guess I'll wait another month & 1/2 for the next excuse.

      DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY WITH YOUR HARD EARNED DOLLARS. I submitted my withdraw forms in October and have yet to receive MY money. I call everyday for updates and wait 1-3 hours each time for my call to be answered. Each representative that I have spoken with has given me a totally different response as to when I can expect to see my funds - which, of course, is never accurate. Mutual of America does NOT value your time or patronage. I REFUSE to affiliate myself with M of A once this s*** show is over and encourage you to consider other companies when it comes to your financial well-being.

      I have been trying to reach Mutual of America to initiate a REQUIRED RMD for well over an hour without any success. This is the worst experience I have ever had with a financial institution, and I am concerned that I will be required to pau a 50% penalty.If you have any funds with MOMN, I urge you to GET OUT. If not, I strongly urge you never to invest with this shabby outfit!

      My brother and dad passed away from covid last December I have called this company 100 times never received a call back I'm about to lose my house because of the money that my brother left me through his pension they never sent me one ***** always said I'll call you back never have it's the worst company in the world it has destroyed what little ounce of anything I have left I just want them to know that I've done everything and now it's time for the better Better Business Bureau to help us Amen Amen

      How are these people still in business? These folks are horrible and the fact BBB is still allowing these cooks to steal and borrow and not pay back customers money is beyond.
