On February 25, 2025, I was contacted via SMS to offer me an online job opportunity and through ******** to conduct a training session. The job description involved "helping SEO Site Checkup recommend product orders" for their partner merchants in order to improve their online rankings. The fraud began with what they call Joint Product Orders, consisting of two joint products, which have the effect of putting your account balance on SEO into negative. You then have to top up your SEO account from your crypto account to bring it back into the positive, so that you can continue your work and earn money. The first time ****** told me that as a new user I could get help from customer service, CS, who would graciously top up the negative balance for me. Then another Joint Product Orders came back the very next day, and this time I had to make it up on my own, I was able to do so, and that cleared me to continue my work. The second stage of the fraud began when a new Joint Product Order arrived: this time, on March 1, 2025, I had to top up my account by 1268 **** to allow work to continue. Except that this time, every time the account was topped up, I immediately fell back on another Joint Product Order. It was explained to me that it was rare, but that the commission would therefore be very high. At the time of the 3rd Joint Product Order, on March 3, 2025, my negative balance was exactly ******** USDC, which was supposed to earn me ******** USDC (frozen balance). I argued that I couldn't pay this amount, so I was offered to pay 40% of it, and put down 60%, to free up the total balance. Which I did, so I was entitled to withdraw. This was the 3rd stage of the fraud: supposedly, in order to withdraw this amount, you first had to pay 40% in taxes authorizing the release of the funds. I asked if we could simply remove the 40% tax from my frozen balance. This was of course refused.

    Better Business Bureau:

At this time, I have not been contacted by SEO Site Checkup regarding complaint ID ********.

This seems to confirm why I contacted the Better Business Bureau in the first place: this is indeed a scam and a company with fraudulent activities.

Internet research seems to point in this direction. Numerous SEO Site Checkup users and customers have commented in this way on several question-and-answer websites.

    Sincerely,

This company that I have never heard of charged my credit card twice for $29. I wrote an email asking them to stop. Then they did it again.
