BBB files indicate a pattern of complaints concerning fulfillment of services and customer service for BestTours.com. Consumers are telling BBB about problems after they purchased a tour tickets from the company’s website or a third party such as Groupon, Travelocity and Living Social. Many consumers say that they arrived at the specified location on the day of the scheduled tour but no guide ever showed up. Several consumers claim that their tour was cancelled at the last minute via text message while others allegedly never received any notification indicating their tour was cancelled. Numerous consumers seeking a refund reportedly cannot get a response the company’s customer service department by telephone or email, despite multiple attempts. Some consumers who reportedly reached the business using online chat platform claim that they were told that reason the tour was cancelled was because of low enrollment. Most of the complaints filed with BBB against the BestTours.com have closed as unanswered.
