I would like a full refund. I was under the impression that the medication would be included in the fee. After looking around more online and on the LifeMD dashboard I noticed that was not the case. This information should have been present upfront. It is advertised that the subscription is for a 3 month supply. Please refund me my full $387.00 that was paid on March 15, 2024 with a pending charge to be pulled from my account on September *************** looking online I have saw that many others have had the same impression and problem. I want nothing to do with this company other than receiving my refund. I would like to cancel any future payments as well.Business Response

On 3/18/2024 I purchased a 3-month supply from Life Med for $290.25. This purchase was for a weight loss injection offered without having to use your own medical insurance. They make you pay for the 3-month injection before they get into details of the program. After the money was taken out of my account, they go on to explain its not just a 1 time charge but in addition they charge you to have a televisit with the doctor. I immediately sent Life Med a email to let them know I am not interested in their product. I sent from two separate emails and both emails were returned saying undeliverable. I then started looking up the reviews which I should have done originally. I am not the only one who was scammed by this company and their product. I had to call my bank and cancel my card just to make sure this company did not charge my card again in 3 months.Business Response

Another example of bait and switch. LifeMD advertises "******* Rx Only $129/month". I signed up on February 27th and had to wait until March 13th for an appointment, only to be told that the medication was an extra $100 for the first month and that this would go up to $200 the next month.Further, the medication offered was not ******* or ******, but rather a "*********** [Equivalent compound]" that was not ****Approved.Even so, it's been 2 days, and my order hasn't even shipped, and it wasn't clear whether it was coming to the house or if I'd need to go to a pharmacy.Business Response

The customer, ***************************, enrolled in a ******************** subscription telehealth program on February 27, 2024. The subscription terms, to which ****************** affirmatively consented, specifically stated that medication costs are not included in the program subscription fees.
On March 13, 2024, ****************** met with an affiliated provider and was prescribed medication, which he paid for separately.
After careful review of *** ******** case history, it was determined that the prescribed medication shipped on March 15, 2024 and was delivered to ****************** on March 16, 2024.
In his complaint, ****************** suggests that LifeMDs advertising gave him the impression that the cost of medication would be included in the program. However, LifeMDs subscription terms and program website clearly state that medication cost is an additional charge not included in the program fees.Considering that ****************** met virtually with an affiliated healthcare provider and that his prescribed medication order was fulfilled and delivered on March 16, 2024, one day after the date of this complaint, we consider this complaint to be resolved.

Better Business Bureau:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:This is a classic case of bait and switch. Their advertising material is deceptive, and any real information is buried in their terms and conditions to ensure that the average user is less likely to notice.
The "virtual healthcare provider" seemed to be calling from their own home in an offshore location, the *********** as far as I could tell, and rushed through the call with ***** explanations. I have no confidence in the alleged "medication" I was provided, and have since thrown it out without use.Even if the service is legitimate, they're clearly cutting corners and relying on deceptive advertising along with bum-******* prospective clients through the process to secure their business before they know what's happening.
In order for the BBB to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.
Sincerely,

On March 13 2024 approx 8:30am i signed up for. 6 month weight loss program for $387. The website is extremely misleading for customers thinking they would receive the medication prescription for included in that price. After signing up and paying I found out that medication was not included. I immediately (same day 8:56am) sent a cancellation and refund request. I have reached out to their billing team as well as care team to cancel with no response. I am only requesting my $387 refund as no services have been completedBusiness Response

I researched this company for a couple of weeks. They make you think you are getting a supply of medication along with healthcare provider support. They are totally false advertising. I want a full refund of $387. I cancelled the membership within minutes of purchasing. I had to ****** the question "do meds come with LifeMD?" to get the answer because it is NOWHERE on their site. I can tell many others are also mislead by this. SO WRONG!Business Response

I heard about semaglutide online and have been looking into trying the medication in an attempt at weight loss. While searching the internet, LifeMD pops up and advertises itself as a source of semaglutide. I paid $290.00 assuming I was purchasing it the semaglutide; however what I paid for was a subscription service to LifeMD! I am requesting a full refund!Business Response
