    For the past several years I’ve had my AC/heating serviced by Comerford & Son. Each year I sign a contract stating they’ll service my AC/Heating in the spring and fall for a set price. In the spring of 2024 Comerford & son came to my house to once again service my AC/Heat. I once again signed a contract. I paid $486 which covered the cost for the spring and fall. However this fall when they returned they charged me another $486. My daughter questioned why I paid them again. On October 7th she called them to ask them why they double charged me. The owner said his employee made a mistake and he would send a check in the mail refunding her. The check never came so she called them back 4 different times and sent an email. Each time she was told they would mail it and the last time she called she said she’d have to contact the BBB if the check wasn’t sent within the week and she was told they would drop the check off that day. [Thursday Nov 21]. The check has still not come. It is my hope you can help me with ideas on how I can get this refund.

    During the time of this issue, our organization was undergoing a transition in employees. This caused the delay is providing the customer her refund in a timely manner. We have apologized for both the error in the charge and the delay of the refund. The customer received her refund on 11/26/24. We aim to provide timely service and will not repeat this error in the future.
