    Purchased for flight to ******* in May. Had to change return trip date to earlier date as spouse is law enforcement and was being assigned a case that required him to be present at work outside of childcare hours. All documentation was submitted to AON for reimbursement of the travel fees/ticket/cancellation. The plan I purchased covered all of this. It is now over 58 days since the claim was submitted and I am only receiving automated responses, with claim status posted as "assigned" and with no progress on its actual review. I do not recommend this company for travel insurance.

    Same as other reviewers, filed a claim with all documentation, was told 21 working days, "taking longer than initially expected. We appreciate your patience...", customer service does not respond to inquiries, August and still waiting. Too bad my credit card company won't wait for payment. This company stinks and I am still out thousands of dollars.

    I had a cruise booked for July30. My son passed away suddenly July20 and I cancelled the cruise. I sent in documentation with death certificate of my sons passing and they now want more documentation on cause of death. I am outraged at how dare they want this information. It is strictly family business how my son passed. Its none if there business. They will use ever excuse in the book to not refund the money.

    Filed claim for cruise cancellation on April 30, 2022.They are still not processing, many calls and emails.This company is scam.Carnival Cruise line should responsible for this kind of business .

    The jury is still out on whether they deliver on the insurance I bought. I filed a claim on June 12, 2022 or 13 for a flight I had purchased for my daughter and her boyfriend, in which ******** Airlines got them to the first leg of their trip -- to ****** -- and then bumped them from the connecting flight to ********, **, because they were overbooked. They couldn't get another flight for 24 hours, knocking a whole day off of a 4-day trip. It is July 28, and I still have no answer on my insurance claim, and they cannot give me a date by which it will be resolved. Nor can they act to expedite my claim. This is lousy customer service.

    Like other travelers the process takes many, many weeks. My family had booked a ****** Cruise for travel in May 2022. My daughter tested positive for Covid at the port and we could not board the ship. ****** refunded us for the cruise but we incurred expenses to get hotel rooms while we waited through the incubation period before flying home. I purchase travel insurance everytime I travel and this trip was no exception. After about **** weeks we heard from Aon via email that our claim was denied because we didn't incur any charges when we were not permitted to travel due to a positive Covid test. We incurred expenses by having to get two hotel rooms. One for my daughter to quarantine in and the other for the rest of the family. Apparently travel insurance has lots of loopholes. I don't recall ever seeing a policy noting exclusions. The thing with this travel insurance is you have to buy it at the time of booking without the benefit of research or seeing a policy.

    Just a terrible travel insurance company; same as most of complaints here - Very slow processing; service line of no use-I called them 3 times. And when they finally made a payment; the check was stolen and forged. AON mails checks that show through the window which is just stupid!

    We went on a cruise and I ended up with covid and because I was in a foreign country where we disembarked I had to quarantine in a country where quarantine is mandatory or you pay fines/do jail time if you don't. The cruise line said that they had to notify this government that I had covid and that this government is very strict about quarantining in one of their hotels for 10 full days even though I was symptom free after just a couple days. I told AON this and furnished all the necessary documentation- over $5000 worth of bills- filed the claim two months ago .. when I call and inquire all they tell me is that they have my documentation, they give excuse we are backlogged and will not give me any time frame that they have my claim processed. They will not help me at all. They just keep saying they are backlogged. Don't believe them at all. I don't think they intend to pay me a dime. DON'T USE THIS COMPANY!!!!

    In order to file a claim, I uploaded all of the documents AON requested on April 13. Their website says allow up to 21 business days. It has now been 68 business days. I have called seven times. The customer service rep always reads from the same script. A manager is never readily available. I have been promised call backs, but have only received one. That call was from "*****" in claims on July 15. She said all of the material required to settle the claim has been received. She said settlement would be "soon". One week later, no notice from AON. I called again and received the same old recitation of the "I am sorry" script. Again, no manager available.
