      Ignoring complaints about smoking and threats made by other tenants.
      In July our neighbors threatened to kill our dogs because we were having them go to the bathroom in the front of the building (which we are allowed to do). A.L. Burke gave them a warning but nothing else happened. We are afraid to let or dogs be dogs now. More recently our same neighbors have been smoking inside their apartment causing second hand smoke to enter our apartment. In January AL Burke provided the "Smoke Free Policy" to every tenant stating no one is to smoke inside or within 25 feet of the building. As of April 1st I have called them 7 times to complain of the continued smoking but they continue to ignore my calls and messages. Nothing has been done further to ensure the no smoking and is causing an impact to mine, my wife, and our 8 month old baby's health. My 8 month old has to see a pulmonologist and the smoke is causing him to have even more lung and congestion problems. It is giving me and my wife headaches and breathing issues as well but AL Burke doesn't care and isn't enforcing their "Smoke Free Policy."

      This company does not enforce the lease rules against tenants for cleaning up after dogs, dogs barking, people including their own workers smoking on the premises. The repair and turn around time is unacceptable. I recognize there are supply chain issues but if attention was made when a washer machine goes down or is not working properly then repairs or replacements can be made sooner

      I called and reported my stove indicator light was not going off on Thursday Feb 23 when I checked on the service order the property manager responded said it was fixed; which it was not. I sent a pictures on Friday and several hours later called and spoke with property manager. Two maintenance people came out and said burners were functioning. I pointed out the indicator light. I do not want to continuously turn the circuit breaker on and off when I want to cook to prevent a possible fire. I told that to the property manager. She said my complaints may indicate I am not happy and not one is forcing me to stay that I can move out. I simply expect good service and am responsible reporting issues that arise in the interest of myself and the owner of the property AL Burke.

      I’ve been contacting this property management company that took over a prior company for months about issues and unhealthy living conditions in my apartment. Every contact with this management property has not been a pleasant one. They have been very nasty, rude, and unprofessional to me and my concerns since I’ve had my child. Outside of myself, my parent has also reached out to them about his concerns as well, and in return they told him to move me out of the complex or stop calling. I’m very unsatisfied and continue to get pushed to the side for my concerns

      We are sorry to hear you are unsatisfied with our services. Our records indicate we have come to fix multiple issues within the unit and that it is in good repair. We are always here to help and if you are that unsatisfied with your apartment then yes we are willing to break the lease for you to find something more suitable for you. While we guarantee quality affordable rental units, we cannot always guarantee customer satisfaction.
