  Lousy service for the titan homes sold by this company. Some problems resolved. ( the cheap and easy ones).Still need repairs and it’s been a year long wait. After several attempts of reaching out and getting nowhere have decided to notify you this way

  Hello *******. I am sorry to hear that you are not happy with your new home. according to our records your home was complete as of 1/8/24. Titan completed all remaining service work noted on your walk through form as of 3/26/24. if your new home has outstanding items that still need to be addressed, please contact our office so we can address remaining concerns.

  The initial experience of purchasing our home was pleasant. Our sales person was accommodating to our needs. Setting of the home was completed without incident. The contractor for the site work was amazing. The frustration occurred after the Trim work, we learned a few things. The Interior Basement door wasn’t on site; light fixtures were missing the covers; fireplace conversion kit was missing; no connection for our jetted tub; numerous floor gaps & abundance of poor workmanship items. Siding fell off in back area. The first visit after the house was set, the AH rep did his best to cure some of the items. He acknowledged the poor workmanship throughout. We were told the items that did not arrive with the home would take 6-8 weeks or more as per the terms. This was unreasonable given the items could be purchased locally for less than that time. And, no basement door is a hazard. We eventually purchased the Interior Basement Door, bulbs for the light fixtures & cured (a few) of the floor gaps. AH returned to fix a few cracks in the bathroom tile, installed the missing parts for the jetted tub & dropped off the conversion kit. We are vetting painter's; all were shocked at the poor workmanship. All stated they would have to complete tapping, caulking etc..before they would paint. Which adds cost. The Service Dept personnel; specifically Cecilia & Lance were professional. The siding was repaired immediately. They answered every question I had. The design of the house is beautiful. However, the numerous items that need repair takes away the joy of the house. Our first house was a stick build. The workmanship was top notch. My expectation was the manufacture home would be similar; not the case.

  This whole buying/building a house has been a nightmare. American homes wants to offer me a credit for me to lie to my bank saying the house is complete. First off I am not doing this due to the fact my house isn’t complete and won’t be for a few months. While setting my house the workers threw multiple cigarettes out in my yard, not a soul smokes in my house and I don’t need my small children picking up nasty butts out of my yard that has never been touched until this building process, we were told the house was going to be watertight my attic has gotten water in it due to the roof not being shingled among with tarping the roof and nailing it to my brand new shingles!!!!!!!! I am beyond done with this company and their customer service. We had to go out and buy our own supplies such as tyvex and there’s an abundance of plywood showing where they didn’t cover it. This is absolutely absurd! This company takes clear advantage of people, lie constantly, have asked to speak to the owner numerous times and have yet to receive a call from the owner or given a number to reach out personally. My husband and I own a business and to damage someone’s house and property the way these people have done has gotten me speechless. If your in the business of building/buying go else where or do it yourself. We have been expected to do everything and can’t even leave these individuals unattended as they look like they all just got done doing a batch of drugs and escaped from jail. Businesses really should do better especially when your spending hundreds of thousands of dollars, this doesn’t end here.

  Hello ****, we have spoken several times over the phone and I have reviewed with you your responsibilities per your home contract. American Homes has completed our contract obligations which are to deliver, crane set and make your home weather tight per our paperwork. It is your responsibility to finish your home per the discounts and the paperwork you signed for and asked for that I have already highlighted and sent over to you after our multiple discussions. I have photos of your home set and the home came out great! The Credit that was offered to you was to try to make you happy.. and to contact the lender to confirm that the work that was done was done which you threatened to not do.

  If I could give negative stars I would! This company has been awful to work with. My parents have been waiting for their house since April. It finally arrived in July and now they are waiting for the trim team to come. The house has been sitting for over a month with no work being done and no date given for completion. Meanwhile my parents have paid over 3 months in rent on top of their mortgage for the unfinished house. The house itself looks terrible. Cracked walls, doors and window don't meet, stains on carpet etc. The amount of stress this company has put on my parents had taken years off of their lives.
  Regret 100% giving this company any money. At this point we are hoping they will get in before their rental needs to be vacated and that the house isn't a complete disaster.
