Threatened to revoke my driver's license if I did not pay them $10,000 within 10 days of recieving a threatening letter from them. News Flash, it is illegal to do so if a year has passed since an accident, and more than a year has passed. The *** and Underinsured Motorists Hotline have both confirmed this.****** has been the most uncommunicative customer service agent I have ever worked with. I sent her an email regarding this months ago, to which she responded that I would have to pay a $2500 downpayment to make monthly payments of $200, or monthly payments of $400. I then told her that the payment plan options are absolutely trash for an accident that my insurance would not cover due a third party exclusion. I asked her for an address to send payments to, as I could send checks of a smaller amounts and she gave me the address, but then stated that they would continue their effort in recovering the debt. I have since sent payments and have not recived confirmation that they have recieved them. In the most recent letter that threatened the loss of my license, they stated that I have made no effort to resolve the debt. I sent ****** an email yesterday, but she has chosen not to respond yet. Funny that they make no effort to resolve a debt promptly when I communicate with them, but when I do not communicate with them (because they have been threatening me), they escalate to making threats of revoking my license.Business Response

So this is either a complete scam organization or just the result of a shoddy job done by an unsatisfactory employee. I received a letter written by a ***************** from "Allied Recovery Solutions ***** This letter was not sent to my address. It was sent to someone who just by chance knew me and forwarded it to me. The letter is requesting payment and insurance information regarding an automobile accident. The letter does not have my address (I have never lived there). The letter has my name wrong. The letter has the "location of loss" incorrect (wrong city). This is just screaming SCAM. The letter states they are recovering sums for their "client" GEICO. GEICO is the insurance company of the other party involved. GEICO has all the information needed to contact my insurance company. A police report is available with insurance contact information as well. GEICO should have this. So why is ********************* from Allied Recovery Solutions, *** contacting me with for information she should already have or can easily retrieve from her "client"? *********************, please refer back to your "client" for the appropriate insurance contact information.Business Response

Good Morning, in regards to ************************** complaint, Allied Recovery is handling subrogation recovery on behalf of our client Geico for a 8/3/22 date of loss. The reason why Allied Recovery is reaching out to ********************** directly to discuss this matter is because Esurance has advised our company there was no valid insurance coverage with them for the claimant at the time of loss. We are trying to verify with ********************** if she possibly had a different insurance carrier for her vehicle at the time of loss and to discuss. ********************** has not attempted to reach out to Allied, instead ********************* decided to just file a complaint with the BBB ? The allegations of this being a scam and scam written all over this, seems to be a basic excuse by ********************** not to want to reach out to Allied to discuss/resolve this pending matter. If ********************** would like to discuss with Allied why we are reaching out to her and provide her any requested information please have her contact me, ************************* ************ or email *********************************
thank you

Better Business Bureau:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:I’m not sure what the malfunction is with this group, but something is not getting through to these people. Their client has my insurance info. Their client has a police report with my insurance info. My insurance has reached out to ***** ***. Yet they continue to send contact to me via mail.
My insurance has took this over long ago, from the very date of loss. I don’t know why this ***** *** is contacting me all of a sudden for something that is out of my hands.
Once again, please refer back to your client. Please refer back to the police report. Please refer to *** ***** ***’s email from my insurance. And please do not contact me again regarding this matter.
Sincerely,
***** *********
