      I want to file a complaint for patient service work at Complete Orthopedics, ***********, ***** **. On August 24, 2021, I had to see a ******* ************************************ for an orthopedic examination. The doctor ordered an MRI. After receiving the recording on the CD, he had a short conversation with me and returned the CD, telling the assistant that this visit is for free. I was surprised when after a week I received a bill for the amount of 85 dollars, the more that my insurance specifies the fee for a visit to a specialist at $ 45. I filed a complaint with Complete Orthopedics office and was promised that the bill would be corrected. Instead of honestly correcting the amount of the visit fee even though the doctor described it as free, *******************'s office sent the bill for $ 85 to the debt collector. Oplate $ ***** ($ 85 plus interest) I paid by check on September 18, 2022 for a ********************* assignment, *****************************************************************************, phone ************ with a request to suspend the enforcement of the bill because it is overstated and incorrectly drawn. Nevertheless, *********************** debited my account and thanked me for closing the case. I cannot agree with such a system of functioning of the health service, where financially insured patients are destroyed by looking for any means to improve the financial liquidity of medical services. Please help me recover my $ 40 refund. Thank you.

      Better Business Bureau: Thank you for your help in settling my complaint. After several conversations with *** ***** from Complete Orthopedics I found out that I cannot get a refund for my doctor's visit because they don't work with my **************************** and therefore treated me as an uninsured patient. I was apologized that it was only after a year when I filed a complaint with BBB that they informed me about this. Otherwise, there would be no need to enforce the debt by the debt collector.

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved.
