    The installer of a fence for the neighbors behind my house cut crucial roots of a large Maple on my side of the property line. An arborist has determined that this compromises the stability of the tree and the tree will require cabling and pruning in order to protect my home. He will appraise the value of the tree and I plan to *** for the cost of repairs.

    To whom it may concern, I, ***** *********, understand that our crew damaged the roots of the tree. 

     

    However, we never said we would not cover the damages. 

     

    Whenever we do installations, we ask our crew to please ask the homeowner for their survey. We follow the lines of the property lines; however, some roots may come into the property line. 

    We are aware of this, so we have to adjust accordingly for the customer if its in their property. 

     

    We received a call from the complainant, and she told us she would have an arborist assess the tree. She never got back to us on what proceeded. 

     

    We want to resolve this problem the best way we can.
