      Summary of Our Experience with ******* Combo Boiler Failure (March–April 2025):
      In March 2025, our ******* combo boiler stopped working.
      We contacted ******* ********** (Wilkes-Barre, PA), who originally installed it, to diagnose the issue.
      The techs informed us that many customers were experiencing the same problem due to faulty ******* circuit boards, which were on backorder.
      One technician shared that his own daughter had been without heat since October 2024, awaiting the same part.
      Over a period of five weeks, we had no heat or hot water — during winter — while caring for my elderly mother in our home.
      ******* required the techs to return eight separate times, swapping out parts under warranty, guessing at the cause of failure via a Facetime consultation with a ******* tech.
      Despite the warranty, each visit required time and labor, ultimately costing thousands of dollars.
      ******* maintains a tight inventory with no readily available spare parts, resulting in long delays for customers already dealing with a defective product.
      On the eighth visit, it was finally determined a full boiler replacement was needed.
      ******* ********** did everything they could to help, keeping labor costs down and advocating on our behalf with *******.
      We are extremely dissatisfied with *******’s handling of this situation and the quality of their product.
      Consumers should be aware: if you're considering a ******* boiler, be prepared for a potentially subpar product, inadequate support, and lengthy repair delays.
      AS OF 5 weeks in and thousands of dollars lost in useless repairs that ******* insisted be attempted, the company did replace the boiler with a new one, in keeping with their warranty. The HAVE NOT REIMBURSED US for the THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS we lost in this stressful fiasco.

      Thank you for notifying us of your recent issue with a ******* DCC boiler. We have contacted your service provider and are working together to resolve your complaint.
      As you may know ECR provides technical phone support to boiler service professionals for the life of your boiler. This added service is free of charge. Our goal is to resolve all technical issues by providing factory support.
      Warranties provided with the boiler are limited to the replacement of component parts for one-year. in this case we authorized the replacement of the entire boiler after a year and a half of use to bring this issue to a resolution.
      As more information becomes available we will communicate through your service provider. If you have any questions please feel free to contact us directly.
