I paid for my yearly subscription in July 2023 to have my local newspaper delivered to my home as I have for the past several years. In September I received a letter from the Observer Dispatch stating they would no longer be delivering to my home and it would be delivered with the ** mail and be put in my mailbox which is quite a distance away from my home as I live in a mobile home park. I am 83 years old and can not go the mailbox without driving everyday to get the newspaper and my mail is delivered quite late in the day, therefore I canceled my subscription on 11/3/23. A week after this, I received numerous phone calls from the newspaper harassing me to reinstate my subscription. I asked them politely to please stop calling me about this. I called on 11/8/23 to ask when I would be receiving my refund. I was told it would be 7-14 days. So I waited and on 11/27 I called again and inquired about my refund and I was told it was in the (mail) on 11/22/23. I called back a 3rd time on 12/4 and was told it was (issued) on 11/22/23 and that it would be at least another 20 days or more. The refund is approximately $180.00. I would like your help in getting my refund. Thank you.

On February 3, 2022 I submitted a check in the amount of $171.60 to the Observer Dispatch for a six month subscription for the Sunday paper delivery. After that I received a paper or two. I made several complaints to the OD and yet continued to receive NO PRODUCT. After numerous attempts to resolve I told them I wanted a full refund as I was driving to the store each Sunday to get a paper. I was assured this was being taken care of and also filed a complaint with the NYS Attorney Generals office to which the OD lied and said it was taken care of. It never was. Lets also mention it's VERY difficult to get a live person to answer any calls at the OD. I can provide you with emails and my complaint along with a copy of my check#1778 dated Feb. 3rd, 2002 for $171.60. Thank you in advance- **** *****
